How we compress the piston rings present on lower side ????

Just smear the rings nicely with lubricating oil and as you lower the piston down using the chain block ⛓️, the rings should self allign in the liner. Just need to go slow and carefully align. Lower rings mostly self align, just be sure to lubricate them well. Be sure to turn them apart to avoid having the gap of all rings together. It's only the upper rings that are stiff and need external compression to insert into the liner. Hope this helps !!

If the 2ND Engineer refuses you overtime to overhaul these then I bet he will when you hide the manuel so he can’t do it himself.SEEMS 2 nd engineers need manuels.
