  • The latest headlines from the Royal Air Force come from RAF Cosford, with one of the RAF’s Apprentices. Also this week:
    - RAF Typhoons have been out on operations protecting UK interests at home and abroad.
    - The RAF Regiment marked their 82nd anniversary, the Regiment have served in every conflict zone in some capacity since their formation.
    - The Air Training Corps celebrated their 83rd anniversary of providing unrivalled experiences to young people.

    ngl the ATC is destroyed, I doubt I'll ever fly

      i am ex atc in the 90's for 7.5 years the whole reason I joined was so I could go flying I was desperate my first experience was a glider at 13, I don't know what has happened about the flying but if it been cut down or cancelled I can't imagine it would last, the whole point of joining the raf/atc also is to go flying, I understand that flying is not for everyone but I can't see why you would join the raf without wanting to do that, the atc being the first step.

      It all depends on the wing tbh, I found the more i prodded the organisation wanting things the more they are willing to give me

      How do you know its destroyed? Have you joined a squadron yet?

      @@tchanimations8237 ive been there a year, nothing for flying - i know a couple of ppl who have been there for 3+ yrs and never flown, seems to be luck whether you get to or not
