What happens when bt-ptt-device is connected to a normal cell phone? Can you use it also for PTT with zello or so?

Have you tried paring the BT Speaker Mic with any other Bluetooth radios (I'm thinking FT5D)? I not, do you plan to?

Hi Steve, I own the little brother to this radio. I have the BTech GMRS Pro, which is a GMRS transceiver, but receives anything on the VHF-UHF band. When I place the GMRS PRO next to some lesser expensive HTs, they receive many more repeaters in the 30 mile radius. I’m not sure if the GMRS PRO has a poor receiver. I’d like to know how sensitive the Vero receiver is. Thanks for all the testing you do.

i can't believe you people think this is a new radio worth buying because of a new color.
I'll get excited over a HT when they integrate winlink into the device and you can access an APRS network through it via a Wifi Hotspot
But you can access APRS throught it from your phone... Stay tuned. The color was just a bonus.
One question, will the Bluetooth - mic work with other brands / models of Bluetooth capable radios? Such as the TIDradio TD-H3 or possibly Anytone AT-D878UV2 Plus? That would be an awesome upgrade to other radios, if the Bluetooth protocols are compatible. If you are able to check, thanks N8EFJ.

What are the differences between the Vero and Radioddity models, other than color? Raddiodity says "APRS" and Vero does not.
There is no difference, Vero put the Radioddity label on for RO.
if this device doesnt accept the quangshang all band hardware mod then whats the point ?

For its price point I'd go with a Japanese brand radio.
As for the RG58, the length is pretty negligible to the power out test.
Which Japanese radio would you get at this price?
My main problem with Japanese radios is that the batteries are tiny, expensive, and tedious to charge. Sure, hams have been dealing with that for decades, but who says it has to be this way forever? Besides brand recognition, what's stopping Yaesu from coming out with the VX-10 with two large USB-C rechargeable batteries right in the box?

I would have been mad if this radio was significantly cheaper than the Radioddity one I just purchased.
There are the same radio. Luckily there is only fee dollars difference.
The app and batteries look suspiciously a lot like the stuff used with the btech gmrs pro
With good reason - Vero makes the GMRS pro radio for BTECH, and the is the ham version

I want PINK . so I fade the red one? That good coax better than most RG 58. Sticking with ABR made in Texas would be like ABR 400 wich is RG 400 . or ABR RG 8X I think that ABR 240 . if going with M & P coax. they have RG58C/U which is a tad better or Hyper flex 5 or 7. or even the 10 wich is big but very good UHF . But for short length that ABR 58 is not much loss. just look at data sheet and add that loss to your meter reading. you can test the loss buy connecting direct threw a adapter right to meter and dummy load direct on meter. no coax. then you just have adapter loss . which on good adapters is very small . 73's

Unintentional coincidence. I remember the icom handheld that came in what looked like navy camo, always wanted one.
Stereo gear, cameras, firearms and radios shoule be offered in only two colors. Silver or black. You can have variations but you should be able to call it silver or black :)
I would add blaze orange or dayglow pink to that list. Finding a dropped black radio in the dark is a PITA if it gets partially covered with leaves.
I'll take the silver one in red.
