Haha loved when he uses some Cantonese reactions "Aiya" (I'm American born Chinese, parents are from HK).

I like how there is a fine line between when Susur is cooking vs when he's not cooking. When he is cooking he is very serious and when he is not cooking he injects humor but it's still in a serious way, if that makes sense. He's self deprecating but only to a certain point, because he approaches everything equally, regardless of his experience.
I was recommended this because of watching so many iron chef dad and jet bent lee vids. This has a different feel but i gotta say i liked yours too. I noticed something that was a great idea. Jet does these and solicits cooking advice from your dad while he's cooking. Asking why this and why that. But we all see susur is as good of a dad as he is a chef. There was a moment when you solicited fatherly advice from him. Asking whats the importance of working hard at something you dont really enjoy. Youre onto something there. As great as jets vids are you dont wanna just end up copying that. Naturally your dad will be cooking alot during any videos but maybe with your channel you coulf highlight his dad side. People love seeing that just as much.
This might have been my first ever real 1st person experience watching what it may be like to have a dad that really knows how to be an outstanding parent.
