I always wondered about how the AH-710 folded dipole antenna would play with the 7300. Another version of the AH-710 is the Barker & Williamson folded dipole that you see on the top of various embassies. They love to use it because it is a broadband antenna.
Hi Brother The spreaders are all the same length 12" / 1' Spreaders Anything you need or information just Give a call I'm on Facebook Kenneth W Viar Jr
The Mile Range Brother I'm Talking anywhere to 20 miles Away To all around The word I talked to Australia 🇦🇺 New Zealand Russia Africe France Brazil You name it Guess what no All you have to do is some studying and Pass your test For HAM Radio also I have Steel pipe In the Ground 2 feet in the ground that Fiberglass Poles sit around the pipe
@@KVUSMC-KU4SMC o ok thats some good range then lol. i'd never pass the HAM test lol.. o ok well thats better then having to deal with concrete.. i might get one of those Fiberglass Poles later on.
Maybe tie some guide wires to the bent or leaning pipe to help strighten it up right? Most radio people do use guide wires or the next big wind will easily blow it down. I got a baofeng radio gets out pretty far. I got a external antnna that helps it. It can talk maybe 30 miles. my CB talks that far. The boafeng has all the channels even police and air craft and marine. Its got all of them. But if they catch you talking on the police band they get really pissed. I would never do that. They would come and swat me. And take all my radios. I like to listen to them. It even gets FM radio stations with music. The ham guys dont want you talking on the Boafeng either. I guess if you had a ham licience they couldnt get mad.
The classic overpriced antenna system in a box. With a 50-ohm resistor at the Apex complete compromise. Build your own antenna system. Basically, that's a $360 antenna with a 50-ohm dummy load that has wires coming out of both ends. Not Efficient at all.
