Love the takes and analysis, Just FYI @ 13:27, he's late, doesn't bail too early. The concept is F Post, or "Arches" in the West Coast System. The ball needs to be thrown w/ anticipation before the short post runner breaks out of his stem. If Klubnic waits for that "second window" the safety just follows the post runner, he's leveraged perfectly to take it away. It's not well designed, the spacing between the shallow & short post is too tight. Anything short of perfection & ball's picked.
Completely agree with your assessment. One of his outside QB coaches helped him with his footwork mechanics at ball release after the Georgia game. It had been an issue all year last year. He’s got it now. His ball velocity and accuracy is now where it should be where he trusts that he can lead the targets open and hit tighter windows. He’s very smart so reads will get better with time. Accuracy was an issue previously. Much better now. He’s always been fast. All football QBs at Westlake are expected to run track in off season. I can tell you he analyzes this to death. He had to correct the accuracy issue. I expect his reads will get better with each game.
Can Cade Klubnik become a first rounder ?
Love that he’s taking off and using that track background! Helping settle him down early in games
Cade Klubnik is here !!!

Will be watching him the rest of the way to see where he stacks up in the QB class if he does come out.
Cade Klubnik has shown real progress this season!
