I love how blizzard has gone from nerfing the old otk decks to printing new ones every expansion. The guy in game 1 had zero chance at winning that game
That 2/2 that lets you draw 1 extra, a duplicate spell looks really good. It’s almost as if, the less spells you’re using, the more you need 1 particular spell, the better it is but then, few spells, you run the risk it will never trigger.

combo/die from hand decks are really only OP if they are easy to activate and require few specific cards. In this case, you need to draw one of your sharpshooters and play your hand to win, so yeah it's probably getting nerfed. It's not like drawing as a DH is hard in any way
Technically the maximum damage a single Sharpshooter can deal is 32 It starts on Naga, and you have 6 board spaces left, but you can kill off two of those (un)reliably without losing potential face damage cards.
Played around 50 games with it since everyone was complaining about it, not really a fan. It's basically a casino deck where half the games you just concede by turn 5 because you didn't draw what you needed or not in the order you needed, and it gets shit on by all the top decks right now.
????? once you have enough mana you basically instawin the moment you draw sharpshooter unless you are playing against decks that gain armor and go over the threshold of damage you can deal in one turn due to board space, why would you concede on turn 5

this expansion has been fun so far but i havent really played today and friday because its just been too aggressive, i hit tons of DH as well as literally any paladin deck. just kind of tired of the extremes in this game, eother it ends at turn 3 to 5, or it ends when someone decks out. i just want an *average* game for once lol. cant say i want anything nerfed, maybe sharpshooter, but im just waiting for the meta to settle. i sat out last season afrer i hit diamond in standard and wild, this season the mmr *allowed* me to get to plat 5 before i had to work, so now im just wondering if i wanna keep playing this game. its been fun returning to it the past few years but now with them STILL releasing cards broken on day one, i just dont see it being *average* anymore, its too extreme everything is. warlock tableing two 7/7s on turn 4 was where i seriously felt like the game was going over a cliff, and they decided thats fine and even added morw good statted minions to do it more consistently, so the devs obv dont see a problem with the pace of the game, why should i? probably just burnt out on it, but i think ill be putting it down for a while to focus on factorio and minecraft. when i come back im prolly gonna sell my acct.
Imagine if that one rogue card field scout not only drew a card but dealt 2 damage when it did. And had 5 health. And had an easier requirement. They decided to power creep a card that was in nearly every rogue deck for its entire time in standard, and not just power creep it, but like double or tripple the effectiveness of a card that was already good.

I've been trying it and the results are mixed. In particular, sage never seems to activate outcast, or hit anything relevant when it does. Any advice for 'getting good' with it?
I think the deck it's kinda hard to play but it's not fair loosing to it. A good nerf will be decreasing the damage to 1 and the health to 4. 2 damage per combo it's nuts.
I disenchanted a bunch of last years' cards yesterday because I needed the dust but I remember skipping the nagas for demon hunter just in case I wanted to do something with them, let's hope for a full dust refund lol

Someone beat me with a similar deck today. I was DH too. I got him down to like 10 or 11. Used up all my mana, and played the life gaining weapon, for use next. He was dead on my turn, unless he gained. I was at 14 or 15. He played his dudes, played his last spell, had 1 mana left, activated his hero power and attacked me for exactly my life total, 15 I think. He had the tiny Nate that buffs up-per spell. Sigil to draw 3 cards, and quest. No combo cards that I saw. He even had the in-vogue card that gives coins and super new 2/2 that lets you draw a spell, and momentum too.
last priest missplayed pretty heavily. had he hero powered his own minion he wouldve triggered shadow word undeath and got the extra 2 damage off anyway. it wouldve removed the mistake from the board and put your 1 amalgam band at 2 hp. legend doesn't even mean anything anymore man -_-
Its so broken, its just that, just the shoter deals 4 mana cristals Pyroblast at least, and then, your hero gets at least 5 attack. The enemy would be so lucky if gets to kill your turn 1 and 2 minions.

Love this deck. I once killed my opponent on 30 health on turn 4 lol. Didn't even have a sharpshooter or a slitherspear on board the turn before.

Oh, I forgot the card *draws* the item and switches. So it's a 3 mana draw engine that also deals 2 damage every time it draws.

OTK decks should exist but an OTK that kills you as fast as an aggro deck would shouldn't
