- Outlining your story is the step in between writing out the plot arc and writing your script.
A good outline follows the beats of your plot arc, while developing specifics and details about your story! This video will help you get your outline done, and get you ready to move on to the next stage of making your comics!
All opinions and views in this video are my own.

Are you working on your own comic while you're watching this series? I want to know!
I am. I bought your verse three comics and the following along guide and I'm very much enjoying the series. You offer very smart words concerning self-concisity. I am looking forward to issue 4 tho!!!
@@Sn0wShepherd that's awesome! You were actually the very first person to buy Baku from CWS Bookstore! Thank you so much for your support. I can't wait to see what you're working on!
@@ArtbyGalen everyone should buy them I read all three comics and they are amazing
I just started. After trying to uses saved funds to pursue in developing a product, and not succeeding, I figure its best to pursue a a different dream that derives from my experiences.
Thank you for your channel.
I started writing and making concept art for a comic book series after watching Lego Batman Movie for this previous Valentine's Day and it got my gears turning. It's called The Demon of Withering Heights, and I hope people will like it. I can't say anything else.
I like the plot arc. Nice.
1. Inciting Incidence
2. Complication
3. Crisis
4. Climax
5. Resolution
This is the simplest plot arc ever. I like the simplicity.
Each plot point will consist of scenes.
Then it's time to sketch out the scenes with thought bubbles.
Inking.
Flatting.
Rendering.
Lettering.
Publishing.
"You cannot edit a blank page" is the best quote! It's a great way to get yourself to start something and edit as you go
I can't take credit for that quote, but it is indeed great.
Starting is the biggest hurdle for me, not only that. Buying into hype and the whole MCU thing is also a problem, many of my ideas just end up like a film and not exactly a comic. My biggest fear i guess is running out of story or not knowing how to end it on a satifactory note.
I am working on my very first comic and I’m still in the scripting and outlining phase. I’m very happy I found this video and will be checking out your series because your advice is great and your comic itself looks amazing.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment and kind words! I hope you find the rest of the series to be helpful!
I am making a comic series and uploading it on UA-cam.
Please review once.
Advice for future informative videos:
Don't give important advice to your viewers while producing distractingly beautiful art in the background.
Had to rewatch/listen with another browser open so I could actually pay attention.
Lol. You are talanted sir. Thank you.
haha, thank you! that's probably one of the nicest comments I've ever gotten!
