- Hi guys! I went Tassie in February and I had such an amazing time. We drove along the east coast and the views are just stunning!! I hope you enjoy this travel diary I compiled together! If you enjoyed it, give it a thumbs up and subscribe :)

I am VERY lucky to have lived in Devonport, Tasmania all my life. 12 years!!! It's gorgeous. I would NEVER live anywhere else!! Hope you get to visit one day!!
Thanks for very nice documented trip. I planned to go there as well next year Mar 2019 but my trip just about 2 nights 3 days. Can you suggest what is the must and best I should not missed from there ? Thanks in advance.
I enjoyed many things but at Bicheno I sat on the rocks in the evening and watched all the penguins walk past. I was very still and quiet and the penguins completely ignored me. Walking around my toes at times. A once in a lifetime experience.
Tassie is a wonderful place!

Hi Michelle! yay I'm glad you enjoyed the video :) I used canon G7X and Nikon D5300 to film, and I edited it using premiere pro along with FCPX for the titles :)
I was going to ask the same question. We're heading down to Tas next month and taking a D5300 as well as GoPros. You've done a fantastic job with this, by the way.

Hi. Good video. Love it. Did you edit via your computer? I like doing videos as well. I used to do imovies but I want to improve. The last video I made was via Gopro quick on the iphone. I tried to watch my raw 4k video on my Mac which is a macbook pro 2011. So it was slow and scrambled so I wasn’t able to even edit on adobe premiere. Any tips? Thanks.
Thank you! Yep I edited it on my macbook :) aw I rarely shoot in 4k so I'm not too sure :'( but it could possibly be because of your macbook, as it is the 2011 one, so it might not be able to handle such large files.

Thank you! We only tried two places in Hobart haha but we really enjoyed eating at Mures (lower and upper deck) as well as Fish Frenzy :)
Thank you, Rachel. How would rate the food at Mures and Fish Frenzy on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of taste and cost? I may go there for my meals this coming May.
Hi Dan, sorry for the late reply! We went Mures (lower deck) for breakfast and I remember it being really good, I would rate 8 for both taste and cost :) We also really enjoyed Fish Frenzy, I would say 8 or 9 for taste! The cost I can't really recall but they were definitely reasonably priced :) I would recommend both places, hope you have an amazing time in Tassie!
Also, we went Mures (upper deck) for dinner, the food was nice but definitely on the pricey side for the portion sizes.

- Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens
- Explored around Hobart
Day 2: Hobart --> Port Arthur
The places that we stopped at on the way:
- Coal River Farm
- Richmond
- Tasman Bay National Park Lookout
- Tessellated Pavement
- Tasman Arch, Tasman Blowhole
- Maingon Bay Lookout
- Port Arthur Lavender Farm
(We didn't get to visit Port Arthur Historic Site cause it was too late)
Day 3: Hobart --> Mount Field National Park

- Lake Dobson (The road up there was really narrow and windy >.< )
