Without a doubt the most beautiful version .... I can not listen to it without rejoicing and being moved. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I still listen to this beautiful rendition of Highland Cathedral .... Thank You ....
Sublime. Merci monsieur depuis le Mexique. Vous êtes le meilleur
A beautiful church, plus a beautiful organ, plus an excellent musical rendition!
I have listened to this lovely arrangement of Highland Cathedral many times......Beautiful.....
One cannot beat a Casavant from that era for a noble sound. thanks for posting this.
Verissimo!!
BEAUTIFUL!!! 🥰❤🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌
Absolutely stunning
Bravo Jens!Toujours aussi actif et passionné...et bon!!!!
Merci, Chantal!
A very moving performance. Thank you.
Beautiful. Loved the registrations used.
Very nicely done!
Thank you very much!
A beautiful rendition of this piece. All parts clearly heard, one if the best i have heard😂
Thanks!
super gut gespielt !!!
My 2nd favourite organ piece, (the first being, Bach's Toccata and Fugue.) I also love this played by massed pipe bands.at the Edinburgh Tattoo.
I agree...the version with Bagpipes is quite thrilling, too!
Magnificent.
Ho le lacrime agli occhi. Non dico altro.....
Mille grazie!!
Bravo sir, very well played! This is one of the best renditions of HC for solo organ I've heard. I'm rather partial to Casavants as that's what I learned on!
My Goodness!
congratulations on the interpretation. This is my favorite Scottish song. If you can bring more Scottish music.
It was written by 2 German men for a highland games.
Pure beauty!
Heavenly!
pure beauty wel dohn!!!!
wonderful
spot on
Sehr schoen!!!
WELL DONE!!!
Bellísima interpretación.
Pragtig!!!
Is it possible to get the Notes ?, it's so fantastic 😍
It was probably improvised on the fly and there is no sheet music for it since I searched a bunch of times, I even looked over Jen's web site and there simply is nothing of this arrangement out there I was ever able to locate even on paid sites.
Ursprünglich the song from germany.
This is the best arrangement I've ever heard! Would you be willing to share the sheet music for it?

Pure beauty!

Mr Korndoerfer, I have fallen in love with your arrangement of Highland Cathedral and would love to have it at my wedding in July. Could you please tell me where I can buy the sheet music? I can't find it anywhere and I'm desperate to walk down the aisle to it!

Du bes die Stadt.....:)
Another recording of thies piece, arranged by Charles Callahan: ua-cam.com/video/5laWq2Nv7ZA/v-deo.html
what is the title of this song...?? .its very nice indeed..!!! :)
It's called Highland Cathedral. Its a traditional Scottish melody usually performed on the bagpipes, sometimes with brass band accompaniment
it was written in 1982 by 2 Germans

The good news is I believe it's impossible for anyone to have "created" a song. Songs exist already, and people just discover them. I love this song not because it's Scottish, but because of the melody. 🤍

Is this in Canada? yes ?
Yes, it's in Montreal (Sts. Anges-Gardiens)

it's a repetitive piece but lovely... can use different registrations for variety. although I don't like the heavy pipe sound
The arrangement and performance are great, but all the whispering and speaking in the background is too distracting to warrant a thumbs up.
Some people have no respect for music. I agree with you.
Bro. This is more worthy of your time than 99% of videos on UA-cam.
