I’m from Zambia and one thing about African dance is there is humor in it sometimes, I think that’s something unique about African dances some moves are just meant to be fun 😆
I thought and see that too, there are comedic, gyration, and fun moves in all African dances.
My wife is from Nigeria, and there's so much joy and fun - and sometimes just silliness - when dancing.

The video was highlighting dance "choreographers", which is totally different than natural dancers. Congolese in my opinion are the best "natural" dancers hands down on the continent and are not credited with being such.

I have seen a few Caribbean dance moves in Amapiano dance moves, especially from Dancehall. But the original dances are really good and the girls have good body
Africans are incredible dancers and I do not believe that we can have all the greatest dancers on the list. It doesn't even mean that the list is numbered correctly, pretty sure the author had his own yardstick for rating them. I am wondering where are our Congolese dancers. However, for all those arguing that Endurance is a Ghanaian or Nigerian. She was born to a Nigerian mother and Ghanaian father. Lived in Nigeria and schooled in Nigeria until late teens before moving to Ghana. So, where do you think she got most of her influences? Some of you just can't help yourself but project your inner discomfort about anything Nigerian. Please chill and know that how you feel or respond will not change anything about Nigerians or Nigeria. Just enjoy the video.

These names also dance to amapiano, one thing South Africans need to understand is that you cannot call yourself the best when other countries don't recognize you as the best. If you are good you are good, others will speak for you. South Africans need to leave the local champions bubble. Most South African artists are only known in southern Africa.

@karine-ela she is mix of both, and plus she got her dance vibes from Ghana and is currently basing in Ghana where here father is from. She learnt dancing from Ghana not negiria. Negirian don't gat much of a dance to learn except the crossing legs, other dance that they do are learnt from other African countries.

To be fair those of us who have African heritage have the dance and the culture in our genes even though we may not be aware of it. Our ancestors who were kidnapped from Africa were forced to hide or not practice our culture and create and combine different ways to express ourselves. We all are very creative and have influenced others to want to adopt our various styles.

I see a lot of Dancehall moves in some of the Dances, yet it’s said that the dances are copied. It seems more like Caribbean dances are also highly copied too. Check out number 6, she was using a lot of Dancehall moves. For the most part, the dances are amazing.
