The Making of the Island | Island of Heroes

Go behind the scenes to learn about the inspirational creation story of the ‘Island of Heroes’ children’s cultural adventureland, one of the star attractions of the ‘Festival of Inspiration’ celebrated at the Neasden Temple from 22 to 31 July 2022.
Visited by over 40,000 children and parents from all over the UK, and created by more than 1,100 artists, performers and crew, this historic volunteer effort has been captured like never before through interviews, videos and audio recordings to give a unique, homely insight into the incredible stories of the BAPS volunteers, who, through the inspiration of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, offered this once-in-a-lifetime tribute to His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj on his birth centenary.
