This is the story of the Indian movie “Taare Zameen Par”. It’s a story of a boy, who has dyslexia. His father puts him to boarding school, where many mistreat him. But one teacher changes his entire life.
I loved that movie, I remember seeing it as a rly young kid, honestly it was so wholesome, can't believe I cried a little at the end of the movie, it was just so good and heart warming 😭😭

I remember watching Taare Zameen Par when I was young with my grandmother. So many memories, and now that you remade it like this really turns on my nostalgia.
Oh my god. Wow. This episode reminds me of an Indian movie that came out ages ago. It is called Taare Zameen Par. Same story. The younger child is dyslexic and was sent to a special school. This one special teacher he met literally transformed him and made him the best boy ever. That movie was one of the movies I was very emotional in. I loved the remake Dhar! Watch that movie, it is 100000/10 ❤❤
I love how it showed all the numbers scrabbling inside Raj's brain. It's like we know what his perspective is. And I'm American, but happy Diwali, everyone!❤🎉
Every teachers need to learn from this . A good teacher is not the one who is there to teach only the smart kids. A good teacher is a teacher who brings the weakest students to stronger/ smarter students.
For the people who have watched 'Taare Zameen Par', this is pretty much the same thing but its in english. Thanks Dhar for showing everybody about this amazing movie and displaying our beautiful festival Diwali to the world! ❤
Oh, my!! What do *you* know about either? I know you aren’t a teacher. It’s way more than students writing and/ or reading letters, words, and numbers backwards. To know if a child is dyslexic takes a battery of 5 different tests. If there is a chance a child is after looking at scores, a writing example is looked at to determine if they are. I had one dyslexic child this year. She made no reversals. One boy wrote about everything backwards from his name to copying most everything backwards and he was neither dyslexic or needs to be tested. I thinkevery student I ever had tested ended up placed in a learning disability resource room, emotionally handicapped, mild, autism services; however, it is so unfair to think you *know* someone needs special services and assume they do. That’s why there’s rules to protect anyone being railroaded including R.T.I. (Response to Intervention) before any child is even tested!
I have dyslexia and watching this video really touched my heart. I attend different classes than most people, and I often feel embarrassed and worried that others will make fun of me. I've been in these classes since elementary school and always hated feeling embarrassed. I will be graduating in two years, and for the first time in many years, I'll be trying more advanced classes when I return to school. I'll be a junior and I'm looking forward to this new challenge. Sometimes, I feel inadequate compared to others and cry because of it. I worry that I'm not enough for my friends and family. However, watching this video made me happy. The teacher was incredibly patient with the student, taking the time to teach slowly. My teachers are very nice, but sometimes they just give me the answer without allowing me to figure it out on my own, and it upsets me because I want to try. I struggle with a lot of anxiety, so asking for help embarrasses me for some reason. But I've been working on accepting help and trying harder. I hope to improve and get through my classes. Wish me luck!

I'm dyslexic and I enjoyed this video. A lot of teachers assume some kids have a learning disability, they never consider the fact that they might have a teaching disability. Different kids learn different ways. Just because a kid doesn't learn the "traditional" way doesn't make him "dumb" or "stupid" it just means you have to use different techniques and it isn't the fault of the kid, but more of the technique.

Is this not something similar to "Taare Zameen Par"? Man great memories come back from that movie! And the fact he goes alone outside, same as the movie!

"Having disabilties are different abilities." Same, but true and inspiring message! People with disabilties are just as special as those without them; they may have certain creative and smart talents that can surprise and amaze us as it showed in this video.
No, they're not. Research before commenting nonsense.
It is NOT a different ability. Learning disabilities are disabilities And it’s sad you can’t believe that

thank you for this video, it really made me nostalgic about a film Taare Zameen Par. it's actually so true that so many indian parents have high expectations and compare their children a lot. but it also showed the importance of a teacher so thanks a lot!
Truly inspired by taare zameen par
This is a perfect example of being treated better means you will do better. Amazing video as always Dhar, loved it.
I can't help but notice that the dad accepted Raj as his child only after he was seen as a genius
This is basically a short, english version of "Taare Zameen Par" and I believe that this kid becomes an art genius at a future point in the story because that is exactly what happens to Ishaan in Taare Zameen Par...

no they're literally not, stop posting nice things you dont mean to get likes. gen alpha will do anything for likes, even saying crap like this is "life changing" when i knew everything he says. yeah no way who knew that if you do bad things it will come back to you. i mean i can see why a 6 year old would like this but c'mon, grow up and watch something good
