It certainly wasn't the same without him, he just has a knack for writing riffs and those melodic guitar leads that can't be replaced. Munky is probably a better live guitarist though, if he left the band would've suffered too, KoRn is all about the twin guitar attack.

@@ScottVonHeldt Almost $20 a pack though, oh boy. I mainly play in A standard because I mainly play Korn stuff and it looks like they really only make those in one gauge. 11-65, which seems too heavy but I guess that's really the only option.

This show is amazing SVH! Were you really tuned to drop G#? It sounds higher than that, it sounds like drop A which is what they are on the album obviously. What were your amp settings if you can remember? I have a dual rectifier and I think I could get fairly close to this amazing tone by boosting it with an SD-1. Thanks!
Yep Drop G# with flat wound strings and a Bogner Uberchall amp. I crank the bass, mods, and presence and set my treble about 60-70%
@@ScottVonHeldt Thanks! I have Dunlop 10-60 on my 7 string and they sound terrible, very metallic and weird sounding. Was Brian also tuned to drop G#? Something about that is really cool
Yep all tuned to drop G#. Try daddario chromes. They sound baddass on low tuned axes.
@@ScottVonHeldt Almost $20 a pack though, oh boy. I mainly play in A standard because I mainly play Korn stuff and it looks like they really only make those in one gauge. 11-65, which seems too heavy but I guess that's really the only option.
