OMG! First, I can't believe what people are just throwing out?? Lots of salable and usable things! I really think there ought to be a checkpoint, where anything usable or interesting was picked out, and either given away to anyone interested or sold for charity! Are we not supposed to recycle as much as possible? What a waste! SECOND... WHAT are those craftsmen and women on, charging those prices? £600 to make a sidetable?? Are you sure it could not have been done cheaper?? And £900-1000?? And they discsrded a 3 seater sofa - to create one from the chairs? Why? They evenbused the cheapest material possible, to cover it! 🙄Who is ever going to even dare think of recovering furniture, at those kinds of prices? 😱
While I loved the creativity of the group, I wasn't impressed with the choice of fabrics, both of which are scratchy in my experience. I'm not sure Brian was overly excited, while still admitting to the creativity.
The love tub is way overpriced and the color alone would have made it a hard sell notwithstanding the high price tag. Poor decisions all around, especially having the large sofa which could have been reupholstered for a cheaper price. It's not the first time the items upholstered by this woman fail to sell.
Where do you find all these makers!?! So creative as are you! The asides from the narrator are so dry…love It! Seems to me that a new entrance is in order.
I learned a new British pronunciation for the router: "rooter" for the American "rowter"!---I'm excited to see another episode I've not seen on You Tube before.

Saw the walnut timber as a fireplace mantle

I really like it too
So lovely & inspiring to have known this channel.
The straw mats caught my eye. But off to the tip they went.
Damn, if they wanted a sofa, they already HAD one! Why didn't they just reupholster THAT!? A loss....
Many times is more expensive to recover and cheaper to buy a new one.
People throw away a lot of really cool stuff, but most of what they did in this episode was not an improvement

Is there no bigger door in the back of the shop Leanne?

I'm English and pronounce it rowter.
@@WolvesinFrance How many other folks pronounce it Arthur's way? Thanx for the report!
Brilliant
The sofa is gorgeous.
