Nice cleaner , I like the fly screen idea. I've used old gas mixed with used automatic transmission fluid , cuts down the smell and volatility of the gas and super cleans everything.
Great idea
Old petrol doesn't really have much use apart from setting fire to next door's fence but it does clean parts well.
What, you can clean parts as well? My neighbour will be pleased!
It might be better than E10 ! Only being sarky ...
@@davidyendoll5903 It is for setting light to neighbour's fences. (Allegedly)
It now glows in the dark..
Thanks again Mike
You need to put that parts washer in a parts washer, it’s filthy 😁
Excellent idea for a cleaning fluid 50/50 petrol and diesel. I never thought about it. I has a rudimentar 100 litre capacity cleaning tank with a small side pump which is weak for maintain the fluid in condition. Once, my father filled his diesel car with petrol and had to take it all off and the proportion was about 50/50 that I kept in the workshop corner waiting for an idead to use it. Now, I know where i'll do it. Thanks for your share. Big hug.😁
It reduces the flammability of the petrol - but you still have to be careful! No smoking!
@@BritannicaRestorations Thanks for the advice, I know it. It is forbiden to smoke in the nearby. Non even close to me.😁
My uncle used to use 50/50 gasoline and kerosene. He stored it in a one gallon wine jug.
Like the fly screen idea 👍
Stops small parts falling into the bottom, and makes cleaning a dream as all the silicone bits stick to it
You've gotta keep yer parts clean!...
That's the plan!
Hi Mike avid watching from Blighty here needing your wisdom,, just done both front bearings after watching your greats videos now my problem is one side wheel has no sidewards or up an down movement but other one has up and down moment on the bearing only thing I’ve done differently to the other side is put a new swivel on aswell any help or ideas would be much appreciated many thanks steve
Did you shim the swivel correctly?
@@BritannicaRestorations yes had it moving on 2 kilos of pull
If you temporarily over tighten the bearing on the loose side, does the problem go away?
