- Captured here are many different vehicles of the Seattle Police Department (SPD), including the K9 (police dog) unit, responding to a variety of emergency calls all over the city. 0:00 to 0:21 = WB Lenora St (then right turn) and NB on 6th Ave
0:22 to 0:55 = Broadway SB from Pine to (roughly) Seneca Street
0:56 to 1:24 = 5th Ave and Battery St to 6th and Wall St
1:25 to 1:36 = The same "general" area as 0:56 to 1:24
1:37 to 1:57 = MLK Way South to WB South Othello St
1:58 to 2:06 = WB Othello St across MLK Way South
2:07 to 2:11 = Roosevelt Way SB towards NE 45th St
2:12 to 2:28 = Down Denny Way to WB Stewart St (I believe this also includes the footage from 2:30 to 2:42)
2:43 to 2:48 = (I'm not sure, I think somewhere on Capitol Hill)
2:48 to 3:22 = Broadway NB between Pine St and E Howell St
3:23 to 3:28 = SB on 3rd Ave crossing Battery St (King County Sheriff's Metro Unit)
3:28 to 4:24 = South Washington Street between 2nd Ave Ext (extension) South and 3rd Ave South (SPD and DOC officers taking someone into custody)

They do actually still have hundreds of their Crown Vics, but they are rarely seen responding these days. The most commonly seen patrol unit is definitely the Utility and occasionally a Taurus (sadly wasn’t able to capture one although I saw a few responding). The Crown Vics can be seen at the police stations, some of their parking lots are filled with Vics!
I wish they stuck with their classic light blue color.

Thank you! Yea unfortunately SPD decided to ditch their classic color scheme and livery (which I really liked) and went for a super simplistic look. Not sure why. But with the light package it still looks cool.

T Phạm Yes, the Explorer (Interceptor Utility) is now the most common police car in Seattle! Before it was the Ford Crown Vic.
