Hey there, Liron here!
In this part 2/3 we’ll dive deeper on CYLINDERS, which are a great tool for conveying organic shapes such as limbs.
These pose new challenges compared to cubes and boxes, mainly - having to deal with round shapes such as circles & ovals.
However, cubes on boxes are actually more complex, and more important in my opinion, at least in the beginning.
They demand you to be more specific with their orientation, as opposed to cylinders.
They have clear planes.
The one thing you want to slowly develop your understanding of - is how open / closed the side plane’s oval is, AND how much tapering / convergence the lines representing the long axis should have.
I hope you’ll enjoy this lesson and find it useful 😊🙏🏼

Cylinders are so so important to drawing correctly from any possible angle. If you master them life is so much easier. I'm still learning myself and thank you for the tutorial!
This was awesome, thank you 🙏
Ive skimmed through your long videos multiple times during my learning. This week I decided to start my fundamental studies from the ground up and stumbled uppon this video. Decided to watch it in its entirety this time. Couldnt be more happy. You nailed the explanation. Thank you!
I have been getting really frustrated trying to make progress on constructional drawing and this video helped me see why all my cylinders were looking off, thank you so much!
So happy this helps! Thank you for watching 😊🙏🏼
Thank you! I got it now. The teacher didn't mention the vanishing points and I was puzzled trying to find a reason why the cylinder away from us is bigger.
I just found your channel. Subscribed.
as an 13 teenager, Im an artist and mostly, learning shapes first is mostly important I learned smth new about shape angles thank u😁
Great explanation and practical applications. TY.

I learned a lot with this video, Liron. Intuitively I knew much of this, but your drawing and verbal explanations were very informative. Once again, you’ve proven to be the best art instructor on UA-cam. Many thanks.
You are a Good Teacher ❤
Thank you.. that was an interesting lesson 👌🏻.. I was drawing along with you , and nowhere near your expertise! Which proved to me I need loads of practise.. looking forward to your figure drawing lesson.. meanwhile, enjoy your vacation 😃

Again loved how you started with the very basics and build on those principals. I also need to practice a lot but now have the tools to rely on. Thank you so much.
Ohh no livestream today? Enjoy your vacation, Liron! 😊

Thanks so much! I had no idea how to draw cylinders from perspective and as I’m getting into architectural drawing, this was a lot of help! It made a lot of sense to me and I learned some great tips/strategies
Liron!!! you are by far the best teacher for begginers here on UA-cam! thank you so so much
Definitely needed this, thanks Liron
It was actually an architectural basic necessity to draw a cylinder with the outline of a cuboid(am talking before the new reconnaissance age)
Perspective is a very important painting course, you must learn this logic and use it wisely! Great course!
This lesson was very informative and helpful, thank you! It's helped me so much and I look forward to your next lesson.
It was very informative. I will keep practicing it. Haven't seen part 1 and 2. Will go back and watch it
16:00 very helpful

Thank you for watching! 😊🙏🏼
i love u
Thank you, I feel like I finally know how to practice cylinders
You have incredibly cool art lessons!)) May I know how you come up with such ideas?)
I came here to draw cylinders for physics lol
🤓
this is a good lesson, however, when we struggle drawing a base circle consistently it's a bit hard to tackle cylinders
13:37 this oval is kinda sus
Sorry Liron, when you talking about the long and short axis of the cylinder they are not parallel but perpendicular
oh so you corrected yourself on the way
UA-cam won’t let me subscribe to your channel… it gives me errors
