  • David Martin OM Grand, played by Jason Fowler. Recorded with three Ear Trumpet Edwina Microphones
Our latest offering by David Martin is a meticulously built masterpiece, designed to offer a discriminating fingerstyle guitarist the best in both playing experience and tone. The OM Grand is a 15-3/8” wide Grand Concert model with a body depth of 4-1/2” and a wonderfully responsive build. With Master-grade Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood, long scale, and diminutive ebony bridge, this OM Grand offers a deep and intimate voice, a beguiling suite of harmonic overtones, and a chocolatey sweetness through its midrange. It’s a warm and responsive fingerstyle guitar of the highest caliber.
The guitar features a traditionally designed X bracing with a small maple bridgeplate, and traditionally carved back braces mated to spruce reinforced sides. The mahogany neck has a comfortable oval carve with a nutwidth of 1-3/4. Ebony fingerboard with blind-ended fret slots, a 25.4” scale, and 16” radius. Hand polished bone nut and compensated saddle, ebony bridge pins, and smoke-finished Gotoh 510 tuners. The guitar is mirror-finished with high-gloss UV throughout and features ebony bindings with mitred mahogany purflings and a rosewood and mahogany rosette.
A masterfully built guitar with tastefully simple appointments that’s as eye-catching as it is toneful.
