  • "For an artist book project, I started using only cleaned oat milk cartons as plates, so I could do both: avoiding buying lots of lino and experimenting with the print process while upcycling. I cut the carton into four parts, remove the plastic and start casually drawing everyday things on it, like my kitchen helpers for example. Then I use a sharp scalpel and an etching needle-a kitchen knife and a toothpick work as well-to gently trace the lines and peel the coating off. When I'm done with removing the parts, I ink the plate up with a brayer and print it with another clean brayer onto thin paper."
