Interesting method. I just got done helping out in a Printmaking Survey class. Did Drypoint, Etching, Linocut and Silkscreen. This method it much less toxic than the "normal" method of etching.

This is the best tutorial I’ve seen thank you. What I do with my first proof is scan it and reverse it so I can look at the proof while I rework the plate. It’s just easier for my old brain to not have to reverse it in my head.

Reversing the inmages in your old noddle keeps it young ! We are always being encouraged to try new ideas. I'm 75; my brain fires best in the early morning after two cups of strong tea . . . 🫖🍵🍵

Just come back from holiday having seen some amazing Tetra Prints in an exhibition. I have done intaglio printing on courses; puzzled how TPs were made. The most obvious thing I got from your excellent video is - use a juice carton! I didn't know they were lined with aluminium foil. D'uh. We don't drink juice so I didn't know this vital piece of information. The rest is easy peasy ! Got to thinking of other sources of foil lined cardboard - Ah, smoked salmon packets! [a lovely treat] I suppose I could even make my own with kitchen foil glued to card. Any crinkles would add to the texture . . . The press is no trouble - I have a CRICUT !!!

This was a wonderful tutorial, filled with all needed elements in a short timeframe. I didn't know about using a food skewer to take off ink, great tip. I'll watch this over again, very helpful. Thank you!

excellent demo and explanation, I have tried tetra pack printing before and I love that is uses recycled materials, so cheap, great for students.

Lovely. It makes me appreciate all the beautiful tedium. I like the world of water based inks. All the clean up chemicals of oil
based ink technique used to be a hassle and stinky. Also, such a peaceful soothing voice and image.👍👍👍👍

So interesting but looks very labour intensive!

It is! My issue is that you can only get a very small number of prints from a drinks carton - the material is soft. Still appealing, though.
