    Another tip is to use grow bags or clay pots for containers. They make the soil dry out faster which increases the amount you have to water but let's the soil dry out between waterings.

    That looks like a lovely recipe. Very well thought out. The robot voice makes it a little bit hard to retain any of the information though. But that is OK. I will look in the description for a written recipe. Thank you so much.😊

    Hi dear lady! For a seedling mix it’s ok 50% cocos ,40%garden compost , And 20%perlite? I wana use this because i kil many seedlings by overwatering! Thx

    • @Pure_Greeny
      @Pure_Greeny  Місяць тому

      Cocopeat stays Moist for a Long time, so if wanna avoid too much moisture in the soil by Overwatering, Cocopeat should be very lesser, use sand, because that dries quickly. Compost also have a good Water retention, so that could be a problem too in soo much quantity. You can follow this simple recipe for seedlings:-

      This would be much be better for seedlings, & avoiding Overwatering!

    Hi i have many perennial flowering vines in pots. Is the second option of potting mix good for that? Video was a little fast so i did not get it im afraid.
    Possible to let me know the recipe in writing here? Thx

    • @Pure_Greeny
      @Pure_Greeny  8 місяців тому +1

      Yes you can use that for permanent Flowering vines, one important thing to improve Flowering is to add some compost Every Month in the pot, it will keep the flowers shinier, as it regulates pH.

    i used 40% soil 30% cow compost 20% sand 20% cocopeat. Sprayed roses with hydrogen peroxide diluted with water still had dieback and when i cut dieback it starts again even though tool is cleaned. I also gave this water to soil but no effect.

    • @Pure_Greeny
      @Pure_Greeny  2 місяці тому

      Try not to cut the diebacked branch, don't spray of anything at all, the cow dung you used is to much, never use cow dung more the 10-15%, if its composted then its fine.
      Dieback could be due several reasons, here is a Step by step treatment guide:-👇

      @@Pure_GreenyMy potting mix seems to be well drained enough. I did add neem leaves in the potting mix too. I haven't overwatered it either and compost is like 7 months old. Doesn't make any sense. Leaves turned crispy first then dieback started.

      Rose plant is a sensitive plant, requires everything in line to grow healthily, a little up & down effects it's growth immediately. May be It's not your fault, the season isn't good enough, or the plant was already weak before Repotting, may be roots got exposed to much, could be anything!
      Focus on treatment, hopefully it will get better!

      @@Pure_Greeny Does roots exposing in air will cause any problems? How can i remove previous soil not exposing them? I did remove old soil in water with little h202 added. I removed soil and planted immediately and did best to not damage roots.

    • @Pure_Greeny
      @Pure_Greeny  2 місяці тому

      As told earlier, rose plant is sensitive, & high maintenance, such Small things can effect it's overall health! You did Best, but still sometimes plant starts dying, or getting sick without any reason, this might not ne your fault....
      You did good not exposing them, in air the roots faces water shortage, but if you did this immediately, & dip it in water then it can't be the reason of dieback etc...

      @Pure_Greeny  3 місяці тому

      Glad you know all these ingredients.
      The only requirement for a soil mix is to be Loose, well draining & Fertile. No need to complicate it, use soil, sand & compost in equal amounts, some Cocopeat & just 1 tbsp Rock phosphate. & Your ginger & turmeric soil media is ready.
      Good luck with farming!

    • @Pure_Greeny
      @Pure_Greeny  Рік тому

      Hy There,
      I am assuming you are talking about Cocopeat or cococoir.
      For replacing them, you can use any of these Ingredients. Like 20-30% of Perlite in your mix. Or vermiculite in same Ratios.
      Try to add 10-20% of Sand as Well, this will help better Soil structure...
