I have used EGW rails for several Mausers. One I plugged the hole in the rail and redrilled the mounting hole in the rail to line up on the receiver. I have also used Ken Farrell rails for Mausers they are steel or at least mine were. They also sell blanks for custom hole patterns. The Farrell rails I got had the same hole spacing as Redfield bases so that worked out pretty good for a couple I had Redfield bases on however they were four hole mounts and the Redfield's only have three screws.
Iv got a 1920 7mm Spanish with pretty good pitting on barrel and receiver. Wondering what do do to repair it or if it’s too deep as is. It’s been shot before with no problems Wondering what would happen from the pitting Would it eventually crack from shooting it or could it cause a drastic problem 😢. It’s the typical areas they pit Im very interested in your build. Will look for other videos now
There’s options. 0/20 Moa base and drilled or undrilled? And you just talked about it lol. I have a Spanish mauser that I was going th have drilled. So seems it be best to get a undrilled that way we can drill where we want to ? Now 0-20 moa? Im newb to scopes. Is this mean the height of the rail above the receiver ?
I prefer the predrilled and then you just drill your receiver to what the rail is. The 20 MOA base points your rifle scope downward in elevation by 20 minutes of angle. This allows for more scope adjustment at longer range. More than likely not necessary.
That looks awesome and what I’m looking for for my 1916 in 762
Nice choice with the 450

I have EGW on both my Ruger American 308 and American Rimfire rifles. I honestly don't know any better rails out there.
Wow. Wondering if this would work on in a Spanish 1916. Sure looks like it

Have you used the large ring version from EGW I've heard some good and bad things about them
That sure looks like a Spanish receiver
