WoW Token is realistically already in era and it has been since the launch of classic in 2019. You are allowed to trade gold between versions of the game. People have bought gold on retail and traded it for classic gold ever since 2019.
People who are playing classic era are playing this version of game by choice. Nobody forced them . They just like this version of the game unchanged. If there are people who cant understand this then they can try the other versions of the game (retail, cata , sod , master etc etc) and there is no reason for them to be in classic era and bitching about people not wanting any change.

Are these changes in line with what Vanilla WoW was? No. Are they still within the spirit of Classic WoW? I'd argue Yes. SoD's tanking rogues and healing mages are, to me, NOT in the spirit of Classic WoW, but alleviating the tediousness of needing multiple accounts to get WCB on alliance or being able to take a break in between ranks 12, 13 and 14 don't go against the SPIRIT of the game, in my opinion. Let's look at a game like Old School Runescape: most players today are playing on a 3rd party client that has been endorsed by the devs and uses plugins to drastically change the way the game is played, a far cry from the 2007 snapshot it was based on. Extremely broken things can be done thanks to RuneLite and all the quality of life tweaks the devs have made over the years has left the game in a state where it is now played completely differently than how it used to be, but still resembles its older self. The spirit of the game was never lost, and in fact the developers (since it's still largely the same team from 2007, unlike with Classic WoW) have built something even greater than its original self. My point is that while this might be offputting at a glance, especially to someone who leans more towards the purist end of the spectrum like you (and myself too, really), I think these changes, when you look at them for what they are and see the effect they have on the game, are largely good.
where was this outcry when blizzard added booning..? Don't get me wrong, i hate that blizzard are changing shit on Era servers, but if you're gonna complain about some changes, you'd better complain about ALL changes. booning fundamentally changes how people play the game, yet i don't hear anybody talking about it. people are perfectly fine with changes that benefit them...

Chronoboon was never “part” of classic. It wasn’t in classic, it wasn’t on privates, it wasn’t what made classic “great”, idk why he keeps saying it. No one asked for it it, but it was implemented anyway to make people like Sal happy. He welcomed that change with open arms, but now he wants the changes to stop lol
There were changes that happened through classics lifespan, but when people cloned their characters to Era it was with the promise that this is a stable version of the game that will remain in perpetuity. The point isn't no changes, the point is that they said this is the stable client that will never change again and now it's changing. Changes like chronoboon and spellbatching that happened during Classics lifespawn happened because of player feedback. These changes were dropped in with no input from the community as a side effect of changes made to other version of the game. If you cant understand the difference I can only assume you're missing like half of your frontal lobe.

Nothing that’s changed impacts the core Vanilla experience. It’s all quality of life that if Kevin Jordan had more time, would have been there anyway.

Changes were always inevitable, regardless of what anyone, even Blizzard, has said or continues to say. This was true when Classic Launched in 2019, and it is true today.
