He was a man of his time and carried many views I do not agree with but you will be hard pressed to argue that he was one of the few to stand up the American machine's crush of the western hemisphere in the post WWII era. If the average American had half the guts of brother che, we would have driven the corporations out of the halls of power in Washington many years ago. If the US had not place the embargo on Cuba the revolution, would have worked much better than it has.

Yeah, Evil Empire is a great example. Recorded themselves, into a reel-to-reel Fostex E-16 tape machine (I still own one)... you can go into the red and it sounds fantastic. And have a listen on that album especially, how their tempo hastens when they get really fired up!!

SELF-TITLED ALBUM was so perfectly recorded, yet had so much energy too. I loved EVIL EMPIRE because it was recorded in a rehearsal studio and you really hear the RAW ELEMENTS of these guys. Especially "VIETNOW", where EVERY time that short drum fill/stop happens, it's almost intentionally too fast. Right HERE is another perfect example of that energy. Love it!!!

Tim is an underrated bassist. One of the best bassists of the 90's. Really catchy, hooky lines... kind of like Mike Dirnt but more hip-hop based
