Amazing video! Your explanation on creating the perfect UA-cam studio in a small space is so practical and inspiring. Can't wait to implement some of these tips in my own setup!
I have no intention of ever recording UA-cam videos but I'm watching just for the sake of learning something new. You're one of those people who are so good at teaching and explaining you just make people want to learn from you. And you make it fun.
I'm an educator, hoping to grow on UA-cam and start making more varied UA-cam videos on Philosophy, Book Reviews and stuff instead of Maths and Physics. Definitely needed this! Thank you, Ali!
What a timing, moving to my new place soon and I was thinking about how to setup a small studio there ( interior, lighting stuff) and here you are sharing exactly that. Is this called manifestation ? 😊❤
You are amazing bro, your channel is one of the best definitely. I can say that being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman offers product/service that people need. And you are doing that. For some beginners it could be tough to start channel (Use a lot of Famester to help start your channel). I was like that, and if I didn't found out about it, I probably wouldn't be able to type this comment today.
Hi Ali, Thank you man for this video. Set Up a studio is my current problem and you've just solved it. Honestly, I feel so lucky because every time I’m struggling with something, I check your channel, and you’ve already uploaded a new video that addresses it. Also, huge congratulations to you and your wife on the pregnancy! Wishing you all the best as you get ready for fatherhood and this amazing new adventure in your life.
Came for the studio setup (as I’m setting my office studio), stayed for the fact you’re a dad - congrats, mate! ❤ And yes, I’m watching this in the dark after putting my 3year old to sleep - it’s gonna get fun! 🎉
A someone who is a beginner in content creation, this is the most comprehensive video I've seen. He literally covered everything especially the dos and don'ts
There’s nothing better than a fresh start! It's encouraging how you showcase the transformation in just 23 seconds-it really makes it feel achievable for all of us starting out. This video couldn’t have come at a better time, as I’ve been stuck overthinking how to set up my living room to film my very first video🙂.
Exactly the video I want! I also have a small room like this, and this is the perfect step-by-step guide I can follow to convert my small room into a UA-cam studio. Thank you so much, man, for making these minimalist and clean videos for us. I always get a fresh and clean vibe from your content.
This video comes at a time when I was just renting out a space just like this, with a window, figuring out how to set up a studio and timing couldn't be better. Great stuff Ali
Congratulations on the move and new baby, Ali! Your UA-cam journey is inspiring. I'll def apply some of these tips to my videos, and I'll check out your academy📚
This video came to me at the exact time I needed this thing. I just started to make my room a better studio and I got a notification about this video. What a brilliant timing 😊
You were right when you said a UA-camr’s studio set up is a reflection of their personality. I feel like I’ve got to know the real Ali more in this short video than in all the others I’ve watched over the years. It was very informative and you are charming. Thank you Ali
This is more relevant to me than you’ll believe!! I live in Hong Kong and setting up a space for filming is absolutely challenging for us here! Thanks for this video!! Not for me, I think I’ve done alright with mine, but I’m sure loads of folks will benefit a lot from your thought process! ☺️
Stay happy Ali always. I have been following you for years, watching your channel grown up so fast. So happy for your new start. Best of luck. Just this, but still have a lot to say.
You are speaking my language…I’m an interior designer and I have been thinking about what makes a good studio…that is also aesthetic and represents my business style…as I’m planning on rebranding…
I really appreciate this. My bedroom is currently being turned into my YT studio so space is absolutely at a premium. I’m excited to get to it after watching yours come together so beautifully! That Displate hack is a game changer!

I was just today only doing setup for my shoot (and I faced many difficulties) and boom!! Now you made this video. Thanks man!! I am glad I have subscribed you!!
Todo quedó muy bonito, me gustó mucho todo: la iluminación, las plantas, los libros, los muebles. Lo más complicado parece ser lo de las cámaras, pero está increíble. Felicitaciones y vamos por más vídeos desde Hong Kong!.

Ali, I wish you posted this 2 days ago because that's when I was literally trying to replicate your camera angle and setup! Lol I already made my "studio" but this is helpful for the future nonetheless. Thank you :)
I was just thinking about your set-up and boom, this video. Same 24mm, same cam, same manfrotto poles. Hahahah love how you made this space work and thanks for sharing your set-up & being so open and helpful! Congrats on getting married and for all your success brother!
Ali, in HK we all creating from our study rooms ✨ 😁 also we use the window sill space as a place for keeping books and plants orrr you could get a custom table made for like 10k hkd ish
Ali is back to his groove! actually making videos that are helpful to his audience, and is not just "how to make 1M a year" cash-grabby type of videos.
Awesome & straightforward setup! A small tube or spot light on the bookshelf to add a small hair/rim light would completely finish this already amazing look 🫶🏼
I thought that was Hong Kong out your window! Hong Kong is my son’s favorite city. Of your books, do you have any recommendations on which one to read first?
Congrats on the exciting news, Ali! 🎉 Becoming a parent is such a big step, and I’m sure it’ll bring so much joy. Wishing you all the best in this new chapter! 👶💫
Absolutely love this Ali! Part of my work is that I help people build amazing looking video sets in small spaces like this one. You nailed it. The only thing i'd change personally is swapping all the fake plants for real plants. It really does help to boost your mood and wellbeing in the room, yes you can argue that "air quality" can be improved my the plants too. Dont know if that's bro science but the placebo is good enough for me!
That's so cool that you've shown the process of experimenting & setting the things up, not only the final look 👌🏼 Ah, and the view outside is just WOW 😍 That's some inspiring shit, man. Saved to favorites 👀
Thank you sooo much Ali! It is an extremely helpful wideo ❤ 😊 you have such a good vibe, so it is really cool to watch you arranging the room 😊good luck in Hong Kong! 😊

Enjoy living in this city and explore more opportunities! ❤hopefully we will meet at the street accidentally 😂😂🎉!God bless you🎉Have a good time 😊
I love the view of the buildings instead of the books and flowers. This can actually be a series where you invite different video graphers in Hong Kong to come and their best at creating the best setup for you and you'll be surprised how many people in Hong Kong will surprise you.. But you definitely need to show the view of the buildings behind you!!!
the background needs to say something about his personality/ business he is not a realtor :) or some kind of stockbroker so he wants to show knowledge, creativity, productivity(guitar) art etc having skyscrapers doesnt fit his vibe and could actually put off or confuse new viewers arriving plus he may move countries so better have a background that could be anywhere also he mentions he need to film at night- would be very hard to light it (window glass reflecting his light is just one) and would need lots of changes between day and night filming so loses speed and efficiency
