Your video made me realize that after more than 400 years they have not changed a bit. She still thinks every single life is precious, she still wants to save other people whatever it takes. And he still is the kind hearted knightly boy he has always been... He still does not know how to manage his pain except by punishing those who hurt him. Sad but a very well told love story, definitely one of my favourite drama ever 💙 Thanks for the edit, cant wait to see the finale 😁

This series shows some hard to watch issues but by god they handle them well and the young man is the glue to all of them
It is a shame it is getting bad reviews from fans who are offended by the name and dates thing. These types of difficult viewing series need support.

@@haesungshi some BTS fans felt that using their names and birthdates in the show as deceased was offensive and launched an onslaught of negative feedback on the show. Granted they had a point but it was still a good show and dealt with worthwhile issues bigger than that mistake.
Even tho he got reincarnated twice he was still in pain of losing his most loved woman in his first life. He must of loved her beyond what we know to have that love and sadness transcend multiple lives.
His gaze when he knew what happened towards her changed instantly from annoyance to surrender mixed with profound sadness, and even love. At the very least he will have closure.
Since she cannot be reincarnated she carries with her the love she had for him and the pain of both losing him paired with giving up a possibility of being with him as a partner.
If they both stay as grim reapers they can stay together but I think he will reincarnate at some point.
On a side note, the puppy episode seriously destroyed me. I bawled for like an hour straight. My mom told me animals who loved you with much devotion sometimes would run away to ease the pain of seeing you suffer thru their death.
I rather see my pet die by my side so I can comfort them till the end, instead of them have run away. Pets are the purest form of love that exist in the entire world.
The show really covered an array of ways people suffer. It was a good drama none the less.

Although it was too late to find out the truth behind his nightmare, Joong Gil finally decided to accompany Koo Ryeon in Jumadeung even though if he didn't cause any trouble, he had a chance to be reincarnated. Due to the punishment given by the director, Joong Gil cannot be reincarnated and lives as a grim reaper forever. I think this is romantic, why? Because that means he can accompany Koo Ryeon all his life in Jumadeung. You certainly know that Koo Ryeon who commits the sin of suicide cannot be reincarnated for the rest of her life. That way Joong Gil and Koo Ryeon can start a new story and finish their old tragic story

All the spirits who died by suicide were thrown into hell and lost the chance to be reincarnated. Plus their destiny with the people they loved during their lives, was cut off. The director gave Koo Ryeon the opportunity to work at Jumadeung as the head of the risk management team. Koo Ryeon who died by suicide is considered capable of preventing humans who have the desire to commit suicide
Souls who did suicide in their past life can get reincarnated, but when they did suicide the red strings of fate was broken. So they won't be together with the same people. If Koo Ryeon reincarnated, she will forget their memories and won't end up together with Joong Gil. Their fate was broken when she did suicide.

This drama could use season2, not for loveydovey but the storyline was great, every ep, basicly they were life stories, The bullying, The soldier, Lim his mother, agency for suicide, sexual harassment all those stories were heart breaking . Lee Soo Hyuk never dissapointsin in his acting

I was a bit disappointed by the ending ngl; she spent all those years wearing pink eyeshadow and clearly still in love with him and he got his memories back and is also still haunted by what she did but then just decided that they'd never be together? I knew it would be difficult but the ending just upset me
I thought I'd be happy when the drama will end haha. When you just want to escape in the reality the therapy you've watching will end and you will be coming again as what are you.

Honestly, I was sick of North American shows. Too much t&a, swearing, attitude, etc. I get the attitude and a lot of yelling in Kdramas but no profanity, no over sexualization. I also prefer Kdramas over Cdramas.
I joke with friends that Netflix thinks I'm Asian because that's all that shows up as suggestions. I kid you not. I've been on a steady died of Asian dramas since March 2020.
