Thanks you for such a beautiful tribute to this couple! They kinda restored my faith in healthy relationships in dramas)) They both were such a complex and different characters and yet they work together and we could see why - communication. I wish more shows adopted similar strategy instead of the idea of "true love".

right? and i feel like the ways they got over the hurdles thrown at them were very regular ways. literally just through good communication. i'm sure that any long-term, healthy relationship in real life gets to where it does because they approached the relationship in the same way seongyeom and mijoo did. run on did such a beautiful job in showing a movie-like love that the regular person could experience if they approached it properly
All I can say about this drama is.. aesthetic, healing, heartwarming and peaceful! I needed this.. everyone needs to see this. It hurts seeing that this is not recognized as much as it deserves. I was deeply in love with it's dialogues and portrayal of matured and healthy relationship. It was a wholesome ride💙

I love this couple so much. You guys should watch the behind the scenes of this too. Siwan and Se Kyung have so much chemistry. I remember watching one bts clip of the scene where Siwan hugs Se Kyung and cries and after shooting that scene they hugged even tighter and Se Kyung put her head on his shoulder and he was patting her back and they were comforting each other after the director had already said cut.. it was so sweet.. is it too much to hope they're dating in real life? Probably is 😂 I'd honestly be happy with them pairing up again

I think this is the first romantic Korean drama in which the female lead did not even said "I love you" once in the whole drama.

She actually said "because i love you" while their last morning running scene.. unfortunately the netflix subtitle didn't do enough justice

@@lalalalala6096 i think it's because they showed it with their relationship. i feel like a lot of dramas and films in general, worldwide, depend on using those three words to equate the value of a relationship or try to show that they truly love each other. but i think the beauty of this drama is that they showed how to love each other and themselves without needing to actually say it (although they did have confessions along the way). there's a certain beauty to relationships, platonic or romantic, that sometimes doesn't need to be "complete" with those words. and since seongyeom is someone that verbalized his feelings a lot, i think it makes sense that he said it but she didn't. i think her way of saying that she loved him was when she tried to break up with him so that he could love himself more because she knew they couldn't properly love each other if he was still struggling with his own self image. sorry this is so wordy but i think it's a good thing that she didn't say it because she was still very forward when it came to affection and showing her appreciation for him
When I first started watching the drama, I didn't have high hopes for it. I only wanted to pass time while waiting for mr.queen episodes. But after watching I began to wait for this one and dropped mr.queen 😂
This couple was really good, they had their weaknesses and that made the relationship seem normal. I adore dramas where you find the couple down to earth and normal
That is why I deemed it the best Kdrama. And the best Gyeommi and Shansae couple!

Run On is one of the wonderful kdramas out there that you should not miss out! It is a simple yet a heartwarming kdrama. The storyline is just perfectly written and even, the chemistry between the couples are outstanding!!!!
this drama really grew on me. it’s not easy to find such a good plot, plus an excellent and original script, all portrayed through an amazing cast. everything about this story just sticks with me even after finishing the drama: the healing feeling, the peacefulness, the beauty in simplicity. it’s not only a love story: it’s a story about self discovery. it’s a drama that gives me hope. an for that, it will always hold a special place in my heart. thanks for the video :)

I highly reccomend hometown cha cha! it reminds me of this drama, not a similar plot or anything but im talking about the way it makes you feel. I always feel cozy and relaxed, theres no toxic relationship or feelings, it has such a soothing vibe to it. Run on is one of my fav dramas just bc of how much i liked siwon's character, he seems so pure and geinuene.. then became a fan of him!lol, his movie "the merciless" and show "strangers from hell" are really good as well, i was so surprised to learn hes actually an idol! i been watching kdramas for a long time but his acting caught me off guard, hes really talented.
I love this drama. I love his honesty and innocence, which made their conversation so refreshing and interesting.

I am very happy for the ending!! IMHO, there was no reason for them to break up in the first place. The Antagonist (father) is not a convincing character and it is not logical for them to break them up....
They didn't really break up. It was more of timeout than anything.
They didn't exactly breakup, they needed time to handle all that happened. As good as they are with their relationship it was still hard for them, specially her in this case, to handle it all logically. But thankfully they resolved everything quickly and talked about it.
At least it wasn't a 2 year separation as writers seem to love doing lol

This drama has to be one of the best in many different ways and different from other k dramas in which the gurl is clingy and all cute with short hair and bangs and trying to say I love you and now it’s the gurl lead trying to take care of the male lead trying to help him out in many different ways it’s very good and has a special meaning behind it

Ahh one of the things that i was most waiting for was your video on them and its amazing. I love the song choice i never heard it before but i love it and i can tell how much it fits their storyline. This part 1:11 to 1:15 give me chills amazing. The coloring and the effects are soft and calm just as the show and them. You did an incredible job i'm in awe

I use Sony Vegas 15, and I pick the scene mostly from inspiration, I've been editing for 6 years, these things you get the hang of it with time. I recommend you to search for tutorials and them start practicing. That's what I did when I began.

At least this drama didn't contain so much physical violence.Good acting everyone,and nice to see both familiar "faces" and unknown.I prefer actors with personal nuance in playing:less is more.Beautiful scenes and suitable film length.
Did we watch the same drama? Lots of violance. One guy got beaten and had to have a surgery. And so many men being violent and treating it as normal.
@@liinuli I mean that so many asian movies contain so much violence that I must turn film forward.
@@picopepper I have never felt this uncomfortable watching any kdrama before and I have watched almost 150 of them. Somehow I didn't like how the violance was described and how many bad guys there were and how they all got away with it. It ruined the warm athmosphere the drama otherwise had.
