my belt is new and my deck is silky too, but when i step on it, it slow down and when i run it stops and gives me jerk

I have precor 9.27 treadmill. Had for 7 years in garage in Texas. It completely shuts off and stops. Never had any problems before. Never lubed it. What’s wrong with it. Console still covered with factory plastic.

Most likely a worn belt, try and lube it, if that doesn't help then it will need replaced.

Have you lubricated the walking belt recently? Try lubricating the belt and if that doesn't work replace that belt and check the surface of the deck.

My treadmill works sporadically even when I'm not standing on it. The belt isn't slipping but if the speed is on higher than 3, it goes fast and slow, fast and slow. Any ideas? I have video but not sure how to upload in response to yours... thanks :)

+Anita Lund Seem like your deck and belt is worn. The controller cannot regulate the speed with a worn belt.

i was using trademill on da speed of 4 and after 20 min..it completly shut down
there is smell coming out of da trade mill also and bit smoke
so tel me
anything can be done wd my trade mill or its totally finished
its Sportek ST 1060 model
