Press has been around since the 50’s and I’ve used it since they first brought it over here on commercial. It’s another string to your bow, no hot works and no contamination with flux etc. My advice after nearly half a century piping up all sorts of stuff, is give it a try before you make up your mind up folks. It’s great to be able to use all types of pipework and fittings. 🤘😎😎

This is where people assume things and sometimes rightly so with that wording “paid promotion”…. However there assumptions are wrong a lot of the times.. And yes…. Maybe not money but you haven’t done soley because you approve of pressfit so much. Pressfit joints are only as good as the rubber o ring! The heads are too bulky to get in tight spaces, the fittings are ugly and make any pipework on show, unsightly! What’s wrong with good old fashioned end feed?!?!! It's been around in commercial or eu, but UK houses do have a lot more movement. Is there anything out there that addresses vibration testing or such? Other than that concern, it will soon become king over soldering
I thought exactly the same initially. I went into my local merchants and priced up the fittings and then compared to the deal I get with the pressgang. They couldn't get near the price I now pay through the pressgang. The maths does add up and you do save.

Doesn't press have a rubber O ring? It will fail eventually. Well before a solder fitting will. It being pushed because it eliminates hot works.

Soldering never leaks when installed correctly first , solder fittings are cheaper. Pressing is taking the skill out of plumbing. I hate it.
