First of all congratulations on hitting 700 subs , well deserved for all your hard work and great to see the channel is really building up a head of steam 😀. Interesting take on this being a MARS offering under a different banner , wonder what the thinking was here?. No figure is perfect of course, but from your review it seems they may have cut some corners just to get this guy out and available. He does look particularly clean and fresh especially in a sodden Gotham City!. Unlikely that anyone else will offer this figure I would have thought ? So if you want him this is it. For me it’s the Nolan Trilogy that I gravitate towards personally. Although some of The Batman film was shot on location here in Glasgow at the Necropolis which is a famous graveyard on a hill behind the Cathedral. This is where he rides away on his bike at the end of the film, very atmospheric shot 👍. Thanks for your thoughts, some great reviews coming up which I am excited to tune in for, enjoy your weekend and mind how you go👍

Thanks for that it’s much appreciated, I never thought we would reach 70 subs never 700😮I never knew they filmed parts of The Batman in Glasgow that graveyard is amazing which is more than can be said for the movie. Like you I’m Nolanverse all the way I genuinely think it will be a long time before it’s bettered….if at all. The Riddler figure isn’t perfect but out of the three unlicensed available it’s up there with the best. As always take care and happy collecting 👍🏼

Great unboxing and figure review 👍 You really do provide a great benefit to the collecting community with these 3rd party and unlicensed character reviews. I really appreciate your insights regarding the overall quality of this piece. My perspective is that the original concept and costume design of this iteration of "the Riddler" was somewhat uninspired to begin with, so I don't know how popular of an action figure this could really be 🤷 A Paul Dano headsculpt might be a premium upgrade to invest in to elevate this piece, but as a background character in a display where the Batman is the main focus, I think that this is really very well executed. Also, I believe that there were several copycats towards the end of the movie that also wore this disguise 🥸 so I would be tempted to overlook any minor niggles and inaccuracies. I might pick up all of the various releases of this character from the other companies and try to recreate that end scene (sorry for the movie 🎬 spoilers) 👏😁🎉

Thanks for your comments and support, as always it’s much appreciated 👍🏼 I get what they were trying to do with The Batman and Riddler give it some grounding in “realism” but like you say it makes for a pretty dull action but hopefully in context with Batman it may elevate it🤞🏻it would be great to see a small army of them all suitably armed and probably wouldn’t involve selling your children for medical experiments to afford it. It would be nice to see a licensed version of this figure but I doubt that will happen. Take care of yourself and happy collecting 👍🏼
