As you say he doesn't exactly hide his tactic so just look out for a two or three year old he trains finish out the back in three 6f maidens then put them in your stable tracker and wait for them to reappear the following season over 12f+ trips and build up a winning sequence.

Sir Michael Sir Henry and definitely Sir Mark can be mentioned in the same breath as those greats , a more astute trainer you will never find small team and expertly handled/campaigned and i think he will achieve one of his great ambitions this year ;)

It would appear that the racing elite feel that Labour does not like horseracing. But it could be said that the racing fraternity does not like Labour. Is racing alienating less wealthy people? Is this why Tv viewing numbers are a shadow of past ratings? Are there any demographics on people going racing / betting? If horseracing does not have a broad appeal, then there is only one way things will go.

I should remind those who think Mark is a brilliant, lovely man that he openly admits that he gets pleasure out of seeing animal cruelty!
The racing authorites are desperately trying to convince the general public that everybody in racing is a kind-hearted animal-lover who wouldn't harm a fly, so giving air-time to a hare courser who says his three great passions are coursing, cock fighting and bull fighting seems unwise!
