I saw this ship docked at the Halifax Seaport when I was up there last month. The sheer enormity of the thing is truly a sight to behold. Just amazing.
I'm sitting in my office in a country on the horn of Africa called Djibouti here in 2019. It's surreal to watch this, and then go out to smoke a cigarette and see camels and taxis driving by the perimeter fence (I work on an old french base).

He was kept to our stateroom for 48 hours and the crew virtually did everything to the stateroom but take flame-throwers to it. Somehow, I never caught it, even though I was highly exposed (and examined in the QV's hospital - at no charge since it was a mandatory precaution). My poor friend was exiled while I got to tour Athens and Dubrovnik.
@bekimsp I'm 15, this is the only Ocean Liner left in the world. She isn's supposed to offer what Oasis offers. This ship fits people with class and elegance, and people who enjoy 6 star luxury. Oasis if for anyone who doesn't know about class and distinction. Sorry, but it's true!
As an Ocean Liner it's Queen Mary 2's duty to offer a Golf Simulator, Games Deck, 5 Swimming Pools 2 of which are covered. and one of them even massages you and it simulates a waterfall. If it rains on the Oasis you basically can't swim. QM2 offers the first and only floating planetarium. QM2 exquisite 5 star cuisine, with French Chefs, QM2 offers the Largest Ball Room at sea, The Largest Library at sea, The largest wine collection at sea, a large theatre with performers from London Academy..etc

Cunard doesn't even employ a single designer of its own. Instead P&O Lead Designer Therese Anderson designes QV/QE and recently oversaw the refit of QM2. Cunard has become an "upscale" vision of P&O..Cunard is the vision of its own competition. Luxury..Carnival Cruise Lines stule.

@bekimsp Cunard does not have sisterships. Carnival designed QM2 as a one off and gave the brand 2 Vista hulls to work with. Under Princess crusies direction designed them and under P&O's guidance operates them.

As a Merchant Navy Chief Engineer it gets up my nose at the number of "no marks" who wear epaullettes with gold braid. I worked damn hard for my Class 1,these people seem to have epaullettes for cleaning out the heads.
I'll bet Carnival doesn't go to this much trouble if someone is carrying some kind of sickness on board...this ship and crew and owners know what they are doing...this would be my only choice, if I ever took a cruise

@nickelfilling1 I am familiar with Cunard. You can also look into more reliable resources other than answers dot com. It's simple Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth are Vista Class cruise ships. Their design is almost identical (exterior only) to that of Holland America's Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Rooterdam...etc. and other Vista class ships have also been build for Costa Cruises. The Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth are made with extra steel, and do cross the Atlantic, but aren't Ocean Liners
White Star Line was merged with Cunard Line as a result of the British government bailing them out during the depression. They became Cunard White Star. Eventually they went back to Cunard and retained “White Star Service” as homage to their heritage. Now Carnival Corporation owns Cunard.

I used to think radio operator since I was into ham radio, but I imagine that would be relatively boring to be tucked into a small room in the belly of the beast sending and receiving messages and keeping the gear working. I think maybe something associated with entertainment-like running the sound or lighting systems for live performances.
