I do not mean to be disrespectful or insensitive, but where is your solution? I'm always sick and tired of this debate because nobody never comes with a solution. you want us to listen, you want us to with you and sing songs? I mean, I'm sorry, but I just don't understand where your solution
There are no solutions only trade offs. Maybe enforcing gun laws already on the books would help? If that would have been done in this case he would still be in jail. But we don’t want to put anyone in jail do we?

We all know, people who are hurting hurt. So the solution seems to be to target those that are hurt instead of not hurting people anymore? Like, you're not even going to try? The right to carry should be raised to age 4O. Too much testosterone and too little wisdom is the cause of too many deaths. Raise the age to buy guns to 40.

How about enforcing laws already on the books?
You are so right and enough excuses about not having the money or resources to achieve that idea. Sometimes in a character flawed human there are telling signs by their actions or threats that they may be dangerous to society. Most of the time those indications are ignored and misunderstood. Then, one day a major stressor manifests itself to the compromised mind and we'll have a mass murderer to contend with; still not understanding their motivation or reasons for killing. Can we lock up anyone because we fear their future to become violent? Case in point: Jeffery Dalmer cut off the head of a dog and impaled it on a pole in his yard. Why? His character flaw festered within him until he became a murderous cannibal. Nobody stopped him, nobody realized his mental condition and nobody really cared to act on his violent nature because we are all in denial of our own potencial instability.
@@kerrycarter330 Exactly! Universal background checks for all gun sales and transfers, secure storage of guns and ammunition, extreme risk protection orders, magazine capacity limits. That would be a good start.

I truly think if we can’t realistically do anything about these guns and gun violence. We need to all be trained and prepared. There are way too many guns to take away here and clearly they don’t like enforcing gun safety laws.
I’ve had a conceal carry permit for almost 25 years. My wife used to poke fun and chastise me for carrying. In the past 5 years or so as we are backing out of the driveway she’ll ask “you got your gun?”
Times have changed. When we go out it’s part of my attire. No different than putting on a shirt and pants.
