Funny! I have both of these, Both are tone monsters. never owned Schecter Basses or Guitars before 2 years ago, now my Van Nuys is my main gigging axe, The J-4 mostly for recording but it is really versatile..
I had a van nuys and sold it. While it felt nice to play the pickups were wired backwards and it hummed so loud in my amp. I love my NJ Diamond Series strat and I’ll probably buy a PT Pro but I just wish the Van Nuys would’ve worked out…
@@brandongordon123 Yes, but now I have that PT PRO and I enjoy it because it looks better and there are so many different tones you can get out of it. Schecter makes some great pickups.

If it weren’t for the wiring issue would you like the van nuys more then the NJ?
