I have tried using my hands to spin. But somehow my brain can't comprehend in which direction I have to move my hands when I'm upside down :D So I often end up slowing myself down 😅
Hi, Cara! I just adore your tutorials! I woud like to see some tips on hip hang, anything that could make it less painful to begin with.. I have been training for a few years now and I am still struggling to stay put in a hip hang position. thanks a lot for all your content!
If you don’t mind, how old are you? Do you find it harder to maintain aerial skills as you age, compared to being a kid/teenager? A lot of my instructors who are older are coaches now, but don’t perform seriously past 35-40. Gymnastics tend to peak around age 15-19, with some competing up to 25-24. Ballerinas tend to retire age 35-40. Do you find it harder to keep doing aerial in your 30s? Is recovery harder? Or do you find yourself wiser and a better aerialist with age?
Technical breakdowns like this are so amazing, I feel like I really learned something that can apply to every choreography! ❤
Perfect timing 😊
Im trying to 'officially' 😂 spin for the first time, creating a choreography for a little in studio performance
Love your tips as always! I never tried that version of a hand spin. Great suggestion!
