      Apparently, if you're a career criminal... all you've got to do is have a kid and your home is off limits... even if you're using it as a drug distribution centre.
      Obviously they subscribe to the Hamas school of thought.
      Not all that surprising.

    This isn’t a honest man been mistreated by the police, this is a career criminal. This man isn’t just a societal free rider but a net drain and detriment to everyone working. Someone who has spent a life victimising others complaining about his treatment?

      meh.. all i see between both of them is two seasoned careers taking a step back and thinking about the broader picture.
      People often view situations as binary, but reality is typically more nuanced. Decision-making is limited by available information, and wisdom develops through time and experience. Outcomes of decisions vary: some are positive, some negative, and some are beyond our control. Success or failure is not the ultimate measure, as consistent success is improbable. The crucial factor is how one adapts to new information and circumstances

      Try living in the same suburb and sharing the exact name and birth date as a very well known and disliked criminal. Just having my car registration in my name gets me pulled over because it's known he doesn't have a licence. Even though a completely different address appearance and size I've been asked a few times "Aren't you meant to be at South Coast Corrections" and "Just get out did you?".
      Irony is I don't have any criminal record but by name I'm one of the most known names to police.

      I think you’re missing a large part of what was spoken about. Brent openly admits that a large part of his childhood was formed because of the trauma that occurred when he was a child. When something like that happens, it’s completely understandable that a human will try to surround themselves with a protective force to stop that ever happening again. PTSD is also a major factor of why people are led to act in a certain way. It’s very easy to say “don’t act this way.” Especially when we are on the outside looking in, but it is always more productive to be thoughtful about someone’s background before just placing them in a category of being a bad person.

      @@indyku7405 that’s the same with every occupation. Bad trades people, dodgy tax agents. A cop is just a job there’s always going to be bad apples. But to try and say hey Gary you’re a criminal just like me is laughable when Gary was trying to do an investigation of a missing child. Brent was importing drugs at mass scale ruining peoples lives. Maybe think about the crimes you commit before you want to complain that a cop embarrassed you in front of your family

    i wqs in a bike club for 7yrs in Sydney. funny enough i also was a street kid growing up in ctown, but didnt join the local bike club. i met a guy who asked if i wanted to come to a party in blacktown randomly one friday at a gym in bradbury after he seen me hold my own in the car park cause i got called out by 4 guys. I went to that party friday night and never missed a friday from then on. i hung around street gangs and a couple different clubs but never felt like i fit in or like it was home like i did the moment i walked into that club house. i grew up in a broken home, small family and was the black sheep. Never had a solid grew of mates but was mates with with a couple from different crews and woiuld float around but never really had anyone who would have my back so i started muay thai at 14yrs orignally just so i could protect myself when. getting jumped and rolled at csmpbelltown station after school. I ended up using that training to become the aggressor to turn the tables on the bullies and threats which begun giving me a reputation for extreme violence. When i walked into that club i felt like family, they all were like minded and they taught me the good and the bad ways of the old school ways of the bikie.
    Long story short. i went from nom to full patch member within 10mnths and within 13mnths i held a national position becoming one of the main leaders of the club til i left. i lived and breathed the lifestyle and was totally brainwashed by the whole thing. my experience and opinion is that now days the clubs are way too focused on money and not loyalty and brotherhood like how the clubs originally were built around. Then theres the intervidual ideas and agendas that use to be uncovered through time and weeded out easily. Now days, patches are handed out not earned, this whole club jumping has gotten ridiculous and loyalty and respect isnt earned but either bought or built on word of mouth. once i got a seat at the table and seen it for what is was from the top it wasnrt the club i was schooled on and so with a lot of dramas i left and dealt with what comes with that.
    I treat everyone intervidually whether they were cops doing there job or whoever but from my experience. the police were just as currupt and greedy as the members with hidden agendas and just that whole cat and mouse game thats played between police and bikie is one thing i am GLAD rarely comes into my day to day like it use to. I respect both of you for your podcasts and regularly listen to the different guests you have on them. would love an opportunity to tell my story and see whether or it might be something either of u would be interested in.

Who did you train with, I went into kick boxing my brothers next door neighbour was 7 time European champion, I started with him purely for fitness for Rugby league, I had a chance to do something with it but got mixed up in things so learning to look after myself became attractive and it opens doors. Where do we draw the line ? Where do we stop letting crimes and behaviours through the filters ? Because that filter or imaginary line will keep getting crossed until the very fabric of society is eroded.

They are always the first to cry victim when the tables are turned on them by officers. This particular guy clearly isnt reformed.

    • @deebrett3480
      @deebrett3480 25 днів тому +2

      that sounds like an intervidual case. not all bikies target NDIS patients for stand overs. and sure can totally understand how ur view on "them" playing victim is seen as crocodile tears. but as a past club member i can tell u that ive never been to jail or found guilty for any serious offence but even after leaving that life 7yrs ago. i still cannot get my passport, csannot go near a casino or even walk on the foot path out the front of a gun shop. had my bank accounts frozen and drivers license cancelled for 2 yrs without warning or reason accept for "suspicion, under investigation" which nothing was even brought up as of interest. my grand mother use to get pulled over for a road side search just before the driveway to her church on sundays to try intimidate her into telling them some information which she wouldnt of known cause i dont live with her. i still get treated as a high risk bikie whenever my name gets pulled up.
      the rest of my life i gotta deal with these serious restrictions due to my previous life and affiliations. and these "anti bikie laws" are actuallt legislated for everyone not just members so it could happen to anyone. so dont judge a group of people by one person.

    Not one bit of this podcast was gentlemanly from you Brent Simpson. Trying to put Gary into the same category as yourself is as low as possible. A man with integrity, honesty and conviction is way above your comprehension. Have you ever watched his podcast?
    What a childish and immature attitude you really have.

    Had a laugh with you both. Enjoyable informative conversation. WA police bash people up too. Ive still got photos of grazes, bruises knee in the back. Got thrown in their van once literally. Padded Cell too. Ridiculous! All because of a divorce gone wrong. Because WA creates unnecessary dramas.
    In 2019 I visited Bennaroon Drive. Kendall Cemetery NSW. On my way back to Sydney. Wondering what happened to My Off_ Spring and William Tyrrell.
    Thanks for inviting us into your conversation. 😎 Policing Corrupts. Small communities. Magistrates. I saw it all. William might just show up one day as a Kidnapped Child. The Casino/QLD Hijack. What did Abbott do to his Son!?

    "Career criminals" shouldn't be getting all sooky about being targeted by the cops. It's the cost of doing business.

  • @nicksalta
    @nicksalta 25 днів тому

    interesting point you make Gary about ptsd in "victims" who seemingly were not really even targeted, it reminds me of the time a well known stand over man walked into the foyer of the spearmint rhino Melb approached the clockroom, pulled out a gun, ejected a shell, placed it on the counter infront of the cloakroom girl and said "give this to *** for me will ya" that poor girl was so traumatised she never worked again it completely destroyed her life..

    I lived that life to 100%!!!
    Turned myself around,and I can say HONESTLY- this guy was a drug dealer,to me there not TRUE crims,dealers have a “God like “ persona, and wouldn’t know how to do a PROPER heist.
    I’ve ABSOLUTELY no respect for drug dealers/importers/cooks.
    Completely different mindset to REAL crims.
    (People who know,will understand the tier levels of the criminal world) ….
