I haven't liked Erich that much so far, but seeing him with his family really makes him seem genuine and caring.
This was one of the most moving scenes in Batchelorette history. I lost my Mom to cancer (same age as Erich) while watching my Dad deeply struggle through it all. The TRUE definition of commitment is shared in this segment. 🙏

The fact that he has only cried once about his dads terminal cancer is telling for why he seemed emotionally distant when she was talking to him about her problems. He’s going thru a lot ❤️ I like him
I feel bad for him, he's been trying to stay strong to support his parents. Hope he ended up with Gabby, she could bring some sunshine to his family
I do too. I'm so tired if a guy is decent the producers (it goes both ways too.if a girl is decent) go out of their way to go dig up dirt to ruin the bachelorette or bachelor's happiness. I don't get it. I've been watching this for a long time and it started to get bad when producers and people really started stepping their own feet in it to ruin the show and I don't think people signed up for it to be a contestant like that at the time before any of this crap started. They were looking for happiness. Now it's like it's almost scary for anyone to even want to go on because you know something is gonna be dug up..they might as well go far back as 5th grade where the kid put a rotten apple on a teachers desk or some shit.I swear.. I think what really did it is when Rachel had to bring up the antebellum party that Rachel kirkconnell really didn't think about or release. But she made it into a big deal without talking quietly to someone and having the best host of all the years lose his job and livelihood.
I can honestly say when she gets older and she will because I am..things will change the way she sees stuff.
What she feels is justice or unjustice is truly not just her call. There is a big thing called REVERSE DISCRIMINATION ! I know. I lived it. For years in Pennsylvania. My son who was 10 at the time had to cross a street every day to catch the bus and had rotten food and apples thrown at him because quote he moved into the wrong neighborhood.. he wasn't the right color.
I never not once saw his parents apologize.. not one time. Those parents just backed their kids and told me to move. I stayed 4 more years
Their home looks like such a HOME and full of love.
Donna is the type of mother that Gabby would need, I love these two together.

@@theeluannesantos my grandfather (whom I looked like as a father figure 100% ) passed away from lung cancer in August of 2020 & it literally crushed my ❤️ so I'm sure they are feeling pain also. It was very difficult. I cried for months. Literally.
Watching mom cry made me cry because I could see in her eyes the depth of love that she has for her husband and the realization of what is happening with her husband.
So sad 😭. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It made me question why people go on shows during times of crisis, especially if it involves their family like this televised home visit
@@rachelsavard851 It would be interesting to see if it was actually the parents who might have encouraged Erich to go on The Bachelorette. Maybe this would have possibly given dad the satisfaction of meeting his son's possible mate, which he might have been able to do so if Gabby chooses Erich which I think she probably will.
I truly loved Erich from the get go. For some reason I just had that gut feeling that he was such a genuine good guy. I think he matches Gabbys deep soul and balances her energy perfectly. I HOPE he’s the man she got engaged to!

Very emotional n how many time I repeatedly watch it with teary-eyed, especially wen Erich n mum chatted, the advice she been given Erich ,n even Gabby ,some phrases that she sad " Married for life ,u can't quit " n I think Erich will follow mum n dads footsteps. So sad. My heart goes out to Erich & his family. I wish we saw more of their connection throughout the season but at this point with the men left for Gabby he might be the best option. The other 2 seem unsure.
Erich surprise me I didn’t like him much in the episode but seeing him and his Dad and his family he’s really a genuine and a loving person..his mother is a power of strength it brings tears 😭 to my eyes watching them.. may God ComFor them now and always..blessings to the family..
Watched this on Monday's episode. But re-watching it again now I have chills. I just realized what a catch Erich is coming from his background. I wish I had parents/family like his. Best wishes for he and Gabby that they have a chance to be together forever! ❤️

If Gabby does not choose Eric,she’ll be a fool to choose the other guy who is clearly not ready for marriage. Eric is a family guy, kind, loyal and commuted. He’s definitely the real deal, and his family is super kind too.
Honestly; them not being ready for an engagement is fine. To me when they all say they want to get engaged at the end of the show. It feels forced
@@rainstorm571 I agree tbh, personally i feel like if you aren’t skeptical of the process then that should be a red flag. I understand the argument that the show is for engagements, but oftentimes when the couples leave still in their dating phase they end up lasting much longer. The engagement doesn’t always mean it’s forever

Yes, I read just this morning that his Dad passed on July 6th, he just had met Gabby shortly before and passed just before their series started. So very sad.

Likely because they knew he was going to pass away so it was worth it to meet someone their son cared so much for since his dad wouldn't have another opportunity to meet his son's future partner.
