Roddick had a great career. I'm a Fed fan but the guy worked so hard and achieved a lot. Especially when you consider he had to face prime Federer, Nadal and Djokovic throughout his career. But the '09 Wimbledon final is one of the all time greats.

His backhand was non existent, he only had a huge forehand every now and then, and he was playing guys like Nalbandian and Federer whose strokes were as smooth as butter. And yet this guy climbed his way to #1 with his forehand and serve, it's amazing and I admire the drive and grit he had.

One of the most underrated male tennis players of all time, he had grace, style, technique, consistency and constancy. He also had a bit of rebellion which made him more entertaining to watch (Even though I love the coolness of Pete Sampras and 2010s Federer).
Roddick has more charisma than Federer , Nadal, Murray, and Djokovic combine. They maybe better players than him but when it comes to being an entertainer on and off court, Roddick is on another level.
