- In this episode we go back once again to China. This time we get to visit too unique stores that sell everything from deadly Electric Eels to $40,000 Asian Arowanas! Grab some popcorn because this is our longest and epic video yet.

Shortbody super red aro , 40k is the right price point tbh. Not shocking at all coz I'm also arowana keeper.
There tons of red arowana but so few can become shortbody, and even the f1 actually come with good coloration, the fry ( f2 ) not gonna carry the same pattern for sure.
Wow but tbh, with 40k usd, u easily can get platinum crossback + crossbelly Aro and flip it easily beyond that figure in Western market.
Another type to put into list is Shortbody Kumpai Super/Chilly Red, which is for sure, far expensive than what u bought sir.

20 gallon is for small kids unless your setting up many for diff looks

Defected arowanas due to overbreading and low quality breaders. I thing some arowanas are highbread. China is china. Defected fish have low lifespan. If you want real high quality arowanas then go to Malaysia or Indonesia.

@@joshualee6765 malaysia have plenty of farms, that's why we can get cheaper aros & lots of exotics. But import fish are much cheaper in sg also sg harbour lots of exotics other fish
@@breathelamer ya i could imagine! be a dream of mine to topwater fish them tho.... just like its a dream to topwater some peacock bass in sg... but its illegal to fish in sg mostly... specially in the resiviors and in the jungle its dangerous... either crocodiles king cobras or spitting cobras :(

Its over priced and not the best. If you want high breed aros you should visit Thailand, Indonesia or Malaysia.

I love fish but there's no way I'd ever drop 70k on 2 fish especially the sword tail that could be practically worthless if he lost the sword from his tail. Homeboy acted like it was no big deal dropping that kind of coin on a couple fish, that's balling for sure.
I really like the short body variations of arrowana how about a video explaining the different mutations with fish and how they happen. It would be interesting to find out how genes are passed along through the generations if they’re albino etc. Love the channel
I love arowana but i like silver arowana more because it got uniq tail then others type and it not very expensive to.... (but platinum silver Arowana is my dream come true)

US really needs to re-do the arowana regulations, cause its true all those asian aro's are all captive bred on farms by the buttload. Yes their expensive but at least it would allow us to buy these amazing creatures for out tanks. Been dying to own a really nice red-tail golden or a red Arowana.

Question for those tank builders out there: How stable is it to be sitting glass on top of glass like in 8:45 you can see tanks built into the side glass tops. Ive seen it done but i mean how much weight can it really hold because theres no framing there or "rack" per se.

Strange fact, Electric Eels aren't eels! They are Mormyrids/Knifefish, all of those from south America are electric to some extent.
There’s one store where I live in Toronto and they’ve got a lot of Asian Arowana that are really good condition
