I remember when the first major menu change happened and it started to resemble Brawl and being like "woah".
This was the Smash I was playing during the Wii U and 3ds era. Felt so cool having characters outside of the Nintendo and Video Game Circle entirely. Certainly rivals ultimate in several ways.
Fun fact, playing the game today, Black Mage now has the FF from the official Final Fantasy Smash series icon for representation, rather than the crystal icon they made in older betas. Simon also no longer has a generic cross, he now has the icon of Dracula's Castle also from official Smash.
I Hope that for the beta 1.4 they can add more new characters to the roster, i'm thinking of Lucas Isabelle Wii Fit Trainer Amy Knuckles Shadow Mewtwo Inuyasha, ect

I remember when me and my friends first used Sora, we didn’t know you had to press the attack button to keep using his final smash. I also remember a glitch where his final smash didn’t even work at all.
