- This summer Cornelius and I had a special task. We were taking the role as hut wardens on trail. Essentially we're doing the same job as usual just divided by 21 huts. It was very interesting, inspiring and challenging!
I hope you will enjoy this one!
Once again, thank you for being such beautiful people, I appreciate it!
Cheers Emma and Cornelius. Another amazing adventure and thanks for sharing.
Hi!
Thanks for watching and leaving warming word for us! Means a lot
Spending two months as hut wardens in the Swedish mountains sounds like an incredible experience! The mix of challenges, inspiration, and beautiful scenery must have made for an unforgettable summer. Thanks for sharing a glimpse into this unique journey - really inspiring to see the dedication behind each hut! 🏕✨
Hey! Unforgettable to say the least. Im very grateful for the experience
This was a cracking video. Many thanks. Toss more rocks!
Yes apparently the answer is easy: throw more rocks.
Everybody should have a Cornelius
How I love Sweden and the Swedish mountains! Only a month and then i’ll fly back to Sapmi! Can’t wait!
Very nice video, and lifestyle!
I'm happy for you and to hear that! Where are you from?
Thanks for writing
Cheers, Emma
@ Thanks! From the Netherlands… usually in Sweden in the fall and wintertime… the Jämtland mountains (Borgafjäll) and Jokkmokk area… in the fall in the woods… we have been helping with the Amundsen slegdograce for years now… so we consider Sweden a little bit as our second home 😊
@@Waidman Oh I love that
@@EmmaaNilss Thanks! Love to see your video’s!👍🏻
Very great video. And Very lucky I met you on the trail this summer (I was welcomed in Aktse by Cornelius and we walked the same day from Aktse to Parte). You are both great hosts.
Hey Micheal! Thank you so much! That day was one of our absolute favorite days of this summer! Thank you for being a part
Very nice video Emma. It's great to see the two of you having so much fun. 😊
Stay the way you are and keep doing whatever brings you joy.
Hey thank you so much for your encouragement! And thanks for watching, again, it warms my heart!

Yeah it really was! Through the entire summer I had this a feeling of privilege, and it sure was. I'm lucky and I'm grateful for it
Great video! That’s a dream job guys! Congratulations! Beautiful to see Alesjuare transition from winter to summer. I also realy like the bird shots with the species name! Keep rocking!
Hey! Thanks a lot for your feedback! I'm happy you enjoyed the birds with names. I thought it was fun to put in the video since a lot of our summer was spent either watching or identifying birds :)
I must agree, it is a dream job! I had no idea this even was a job before this summer to be honest! I'm very grateful
nice video😊
Thanks for saying that! ❤️
Very relaxing presentation Emma and Cornelius. New skills learned, appreciation of the hut caretakers of the contributions of both of you and also being able to recharge your internal batteries.
With the seasons changing to winter soon, are you both still in the high country?
You have seen the winters and warmer weather and seen how familiar country changes depending upon the season. Keep well, thanks for the opportunity to see your country, Regards, Paul from south east Australia 🇦🇺
Hey Paul!
Thanks for your feedback, it makes me very happy. My intention was to make the video relaxing and interesting but relaxing ;)
Actually we moved more north. Though we did this to study so I dont know yet how much time there will be to go out in the outback this winter! I guess we'll see :)
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Cheers Emma
@@EmmaaNilsshello Emma and Cornelius, about three quarters of The Australian landmass is described as being the outback, but perhaps unlike where you might be located, for much of the year is blazingly hot. Only this week, one of my nephews and his family are out on a cattle property about 15 hours north of here and he sent images of them rounding up cattle on horseback and the temperature was 44° Celsius. Other parts of the outback might get to 50° C. It is a dry heat with very low humidity. Very stark sandy land, low hardy vegetation, and equally tough native fauna and flora.
The cattle stations as the properties are known as, are many hundreds of thousands of hectares but need to be big as the equation of one cattle per x numbers of hectares or acres is very huge.
The nephew returns next week as school has started for his children.
