So we just let them die? And that does what? They work there! It’s their job to take care of them. It even said it in the new story that they were also experiencing black out too.
It's beyond me but if I had a choice between human life and animal life I would rather help my fellow human Animals are not supposed to be caged up for entertainment purposes and profit if you ask just my opinion practicing my freedom of speech while I still have nobody wants to hear the truth now days.
@@ExploreCalifornia123 Zoos don't just cage up animals "for entertainment purposes and profit." You are missing the whole point. Zoos engage in research, preserve biodiversity (genetic and species) that may be threatened or at times even extinct in the wild, and they provide much needed funding for research and conservation projects across the world. Zoos primarily deal with three aspects of conservation - practice, advocacy and research. Conservation practice entails captive breeding, species reintroduction programs, Species survival plans and the use of zoo revenue for conservation programs in the wild. Conservation advocacy includes public engagement, promoting awareness, advocating stewardship, and fundraising events and schemes - a good example of which is the ‘Adopt an Animal’ scheme at most modern zoos. Moreover, conservation research is conducted on wildlife biology, population dynamics, animal behavior, health and welfare and there are also publications generated by zoos on animal care and captivity.
