Hello Mrs Coffee, Wow, thank you. I have a big kit that's way to big for my tv tray table ( the one that you fold up and place in closet). I had the whole thing speed out, handing over the sides. I wind up stop working on it and stored it away . Started buying smaller kits .

Very helpful to work rolled ! The only other thing I might add is using the assistance of a pool noodle or heavy duty art tube to roll the finished part around so as to not accidentally squish it or roll too tightly 😘

Thank you Mrs. C.., I’m a newbie, trying to learn this craft thru UA-camrs like you, Rachel Rae and Stitcherista (so?). I too live in an apartment so I have limited area and I was lucky enough to “snag” DAC’s Something Sweet this past Saturday..., so this posting is a big help when the times come for me to work in that and other big canvases. Take care and keep safe Donna from South Jersey. 😊

That's a fantastic tip!! I have only done 3 small diamond paintings and decided that I really like diamond painting so I ordered a few canvases from DAC and they are quite large. I was a little nervous to start them because I really didn't know how to tackle a project so large. Thank you for that information!! I feel better about giving a large canvas a try!! (I have the Harbor Freight containers too and I love them!!) Have a beautiful day!!

Thank you for making this video, I have not worked on a big canvas and have several ordered that will be much larger than I am use to doing. I work on a 24 inch long by 12 inch high-only 9.5 inches is usable space, board that goes across my lap while in a rocking recliner. My move is almost complete and hope to have a table set up that I can spread out on and be more comfortable while DPing, this is the only tool missing from my DP kit. :D

I always work mine in portrait position. Even if it means my symbols are sideways. I just let it hang down in front of me. Unless I’m having problems with the cats. Then I loosely roll up the bottom and tape it to the underside of the table. I prefer not to because it makes it harder to move it from side to side. All that untaping and retaping. Right now I’m wishing I could use a larger table! Lol
