It was a weird way to start a movie when they had no intention of doing any other VR in the film. I thought that her journey was eventually going to turn out to be entirely VR!
I thought that maybe someone who was in the same game as her would end up being stuck there when the power went out which doesn't make sense but for a movie 🤷🏻♀ doesn't matter
City: *has a power outage* Chris: Yes, the power’s out! Now you can get off those devices and we can spend more time together Also Chris: Hey, let’s use the iPad
Doesn't look like a bad movie but being a survivalist and being a tracker are two very different things. The way her grandfather tracked her down throughout all her escapades should have found him discovering Bigfoot by now.
Another ending: He opens his laptop, nothing. Reese go's to get some more berries and sees a beer but ducks under a log, she gasps. Reese sees a sign. It says "Take of your VR head set. You have won." She tries to take the VR head set off but she can't. Reese tries one more time. *CRACK* Yet again, she tries. *CRACK* Quin hears all of the cracking noises and go's outside to check on Reese. Reese point to the sign and Quin gasps. He tries to take it off and *CRACK* he drops dead but he went back to the real world. Reese realizes she is stuck. 12 years pass, she is still on the cabin hearing the birds chirp.
I like how right as you mention the cliches it goes from an easy drive to the mountains to meet uncle to a straight survivalist treck thru the mountains carrying an injured man twice your size. This movies name is cliche
This movie lost me when THOUSANDS of people are trying to leave the city and all calmly using one lane as though anyone is trying to get in the city. In real life they both would've turned into OUTBOUND lanes lol.
If they kept it same at how it started and made the whole movie around the phones and the actress solves puzzles to get out, would have been a better movie.
Each movie: Looking away for a splitsecond while driving: Out of nowhere another car/bus/truck appears; stear wheel to the side and crash into a tree; total damage. "We have to walk now"
If your battery was unplugged or had a certain type of protection from EMPs it would be fine. Also I don’t think it was really an EMP I think it was just a simple outrage issue and the gpa was just nuts
You know, you would think that maybe this is exaggerated with how the world turned to chaos after one day without the internet, but then you remember what happened with the toilet paper during the start of covid-
One major reason i hate movies like this is because, there is always that idiot who will crash the car in an emergency situation like this. Also the idiot that will cause an accident and block the road. I love the guy who broke the blockage and continue to drive, I'll do the same
Definitely a trope that should be used less. They "NEED" a reason to leave the car and go on by foot and an accident is more cinematic then them "running out of gas" or something. I would do the same in an emergency if the road was blocked especially if it seemed like the ones who would handle it are unable to.
I can just see someone trying to pitch this film... 👃🗻"Okay, okay, okay. See It's a about a VR game gone wrong, *sniff* nevermind how about a hillbilly family and a hungry bear. Did I forget to mention a grandpa with the skill set of the guy from Taken!?!?!"
The VR scene seems to have nothing to do with the rest of the movie! I wonder why it is there. If I saw this movie, I would be doubting the whole time that the story is inside a VR world, which would detract from the experience.

Virtual Reality Escape Rooms would be so crazy, especially if you’d be able to walk and climb in game without doing so in the real world. Hopefully, one day.
I am ecstatically delighted and disproportionately flabbergasted with enormous gratification and appreciation for the dispensation for such a tendering mesmerizing information in which the prestidigitation of the concurrent and subsequent matter is thoroughly demonstrated through the innuances alluding to literal and metaphorical context. So they never bring back the VR plot? That could’ve been an entire movie of its own.
It was a weird way to start a movie when they had no intention of doing any other VR in the film. I thought that her journey was eventually going to turn out to be entirely VR!

Damn I got clickbaited. The room with 1000 telephones sounded like a pretty exciting movie
i mean technically it did happen in the movie
Not really, they didn't all have a different message and they weren't real phones, click bait

Glenn was by far the most kind, light hearted, and outgoing person in this movie. More so the best one in general.
Quinn? Glenn? I need some clarification. Would you be willing to take a walk in the woods?
Has no one in this movie been through a blackout, everyone went started freaking out within like 12 hours, most of which they slept through
did every phone have the missing toilet piece?
“Weird I have this dream before” got me laughing 😂

This really should have been the ending, would have given this entire pointless plot some meaning.
Nothing to say, your voice feels so natural watching those videos. Loved that one or two time we saw you.
well it is natural
I love how they chose this video name when the scene its about is only 5 minutes long
Mmmhh... Yes. The emp didnt kill the radio.. or the ipad.. or the cars.. strange dont you think.
Yeah even cars should be damaged to different degree and that shop scene would be impossible
I really appreciate the narrative sarcasm, especially on the movies that are terrible, like this one seems to be.
Any WALKING DEAD fans? That girl is Lizzie..."Look at the flowers Lizzie" Lizzie 🤯
So power outage that we experience in Nigeria on a daily is an apocalyptic event over there 😂
What makes the movie even more ridiculous is we have them over here too. Maybe not as frequently as you, but it happens. And it's no big deal.
LoL We aren't North Korea poor
Was looking for this comment. Some parts in Nigeria haven't had electricity for years and are not bothered about it
I like how right as you mention the cliches it goes from an easy drive to the mountains to meet uncle to a straight survivalist treck thru the mountains carrying an injured man twice your size. This movies name is cliche

In reality 12 hours after a power shortage people would take food out the fridge not start a max exodus to the mountains
If they kept it same at how it started and made the whole movie around the phones and the actress solves puzzles to get out, would have been a better movie.
It goes from an apocalyptic movie to wrong turn real quick
I thought the biggest twist is that it is all a in the vr and she is in a contest
That would be a bruh moment
I loved the ending
They finally get to disconnect from all of the electronics.....immediately pulls out iPad to look at pictures! Lol 😆
If anyone is interested in the whole VR plot, I suggest a show called ‘The Hollows’.
0:25 hahaha. Brings me back to another recap to which I had also dreamed beforehand
If I were inside, I will call every telephone
and then drown
"we have been trying to reach you regarding your cars extended warranty.."
EMP knocks out power to 2/3 of the United States, cars still work. Okay, sure. *eye roll*
This movie needs to be on cinema sins 😂😂😂
I just love your videos. They are so funny with some of your commentary. Keep up the good work.
Cars wouldn’t work if it was an EMP! Especially now-a-day cars. They are essentially computers!
Each movie: Looking away for a splitsecond while driving: Out of nowhere another car/bus/truck appears; stear wheel to the side and crash into a tree; total damage. "We have to walk now"
I believe an EMP would make a cars unable to work
Yep pretty much any car made this millennium would be. But we also see that their iPads still work, so... Who fucking knows what sort of EMP this is
Love the shady sarcasm 😂
So the emp allowed an iPad and their cars to still work?? Tf

When you narrated that chris had a big bruise on his side I was like, ummm that looks more like internal bleeding.
I love the fact that the 1000 telephones have messages each. Lol.
There’s no way anyone her age would know how to use a rotary dial phone!!
Its not complicated lol. If you've ever even seen someone else do it once, then you know how it works.
New Escape Room movie titles: "La Toilet," "Eau de toilette," "Das Toilette."
So you're telling me without video games people would go on killing sprees
so you're telling me an emp attack happened but all the cars still work??
They sleep with the lantern on? Clearly this was written by someone who never had problems with electricity shortages.
