Hiking Kauai | Okolehao Trail

We are back in Kauai, HI and back to more hiking adventures! One of our first hikes back on the island was the Okolehao Trail, one of the most popular hikes on the north shore. This hike is short and sweet with some amazing views but has the option of being more adventurous. The best part of this hike is the views of Hanalei Bay. While watching this video you'll learn some Hawaiian history as well as some fun facts. According to Alltrails, the hike is 3.4 miles out and back. As one of the most popular hikes in the north shore, you will see lots of other hikers and the conditions will be very muddy. We suggest wearing some old trail runners to help you keep your grip in the mud.
