It’s quite common to experience depression after anxiety. I started first with anxiety then started to alternate between anxiety and depression and then got stuck in depression. It’s a horrible experience when you are in it. This was years ago for me and I am glad no longer my experience. I hope you are getting the help you need. Something big, scary, stressful, threatening must have happened or had been happening 6 months ago when the anxiety started for you. I hope all that is over now and that you have the capacity, support and resources able to heal now.

It started 6 months ago with anxiety and after a lot of crying started in November the anxiety lessened but I now feel stuck in a state of depression.
