    2. Be that person, or act like you are
    3. Appreciation later from other people makes the chore worthwhile

    Motivation is the underlying factor for everything you do. If you have no motivation, you will not be as productive to get the job done.

      If your not looking for people appreciation you should motivate your self by asking yourself if the thing your trying to accomplish will make future you happy.

    Brendan Clark’s TED talk is about self motivation. He tells about the importance of having or finding your own motivation in every task of your life. According to him motivation is the underlying factor, he believes, in everything that people do on a daily basis. So if you don't have motivation in something that you do, then you really can't achieve what it is that you want to achieve. For finding motivation he suggests to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. In this case you should think about the responsibility that you're helping someone else fulfill and that can become your motivation.
    While Brendan Clark's TED talk emphasizes the importance of self-motivation, I disagree with his viewpoint. Motivation, though important, isn't always the only determining factor in achieving goals. There are various other elements such as skill, resources, and external circumstances that play very important roles in success.
