@@MattWelterOfficialalright I’m back! Great interview! My family & I are staying at the Hyatt Place in Waikiki in a couple months - since we’re on military orders, we booked 30 days. We could end up staying more or less, but 30 days is the suggested booking. Anyhow! I am looking forward to racking up some Hyatt points that way, and I would like to get one or both of the personal and/or business World of Hyatt cards to possibly earn status due to the number of nights we’ll be staying. Any thoughts or suggestions? I like how Anthony mentioned he went bankrupt on Hilton points. I’ve been thinking the same thing. Where and how will I continue to earn Hilton points after all the sign up bonuses are done? Maybe there will be more opportunities utilizing both player 1 & 2, but that’s definitely crossed my mind. Thanks again for the video! Love all your content! Hope to see some fun travel videos soon 😊
@@JessicaHolmes Hi Jessica! Thanks so much for the comment! Awesome! Have a fantastic time in Hawaii! I would personally recommend the Personal Hyatt Card over the Biz One at least to start (it's just way more feasible to get consistent value long-term with the Free Night Award each year). Yeah it's certainly a valid argument in terms of Hilton Points. Much easier to earn Chase Points consistently long-term, which can of course be transferred to Hyatt. Technically you can transfer to Hilton from other major issuers as well, but it's typically not worthwhile unless there's some sort of transfer bonuses tacked on. Thanks so much for your support as always!
Great video. I love the sneak peaks for the upcoming year for both of you guys. Also, seeing Anthony not in the car talking to you the vibe feels different lol
Apologies if you’ve answered this in the past. Upon getting new credit cards, do you close the ones you already have with no annual fee? Also, if you have the card such as the Chase Inc. for example and you are eligible for a new welcome bonus, do you close the old one?
Good question! I never cancel any Credit Card that has a $0 annual fee, since there's no downside to keeping it open (I'm not paying an annual fee), and the length of my Credit history would increase, which positively increases my Credit Score. For the Chase Ink Unlimited specifically, I didn't close the previous one, but I applied for a new one under a different business entity.
Fair! At the end of the day, you want to make sure that you are staying where you want to and not just where the CPP is the highest. Appreciate you watching!
And here I am nearing 1 million UR points the old fashioned way 😂 so always had a question. How do you value a point redemption when you redeem for a standard room then apply a SUA? It's a 25k point reemption per night for a $600 standard room at the hyatt regency Huntington Beach but I get upgraded to the suite at booking and the rate for the suite is $1224 per night. Is there a modifier since im using an upgrade cert?
Sometimes I will value the point redemption based on the points I used and then the upgraded room rate (basically increasing the value from that redemption). Thanks so much for watching Mark!

Thank you sir for having me on!! I know what I’ve done this past year is kind of ridiculous, but it was a lot of fun haha.
Of course Anthony!! Thanks so much for coming on!! Loved hearing your perspective on everything you've accomplished this past year!
Cant wait to finish watching this! Will be coming back to add more to this comment! Love the collab, guys!
Thanks so much Jessica!

I don't use CPP to evaluate stays. If I'm going somewhere that has Hyatt properties I'll look at the hotel, it's location, and amenities.

I like Hyatt, but they don’t seem to be where I want to be. Marriott is.
I definitely feel that, similar assessment for me when I travel to Latin America. Thanks so much for watching as always!

Why worry about the supposed value. Book the room you want, and count the upgrade as a gift. It's not a contest.

400,000 Hyatt Points ?!? GYADAYUUMM 😮💀🤣
I know right!! Haha- Anthony is on another level with his Hyatt Strategy! Thank you for watching!
