they're convincing but trust me as an owner of this car it makes the 0-60 so much slower. i could "shift" faster with a manual

Yep... the simulated shifts choke the acceleration, but it can be overridden and bring it into the high 6s or low 7s.

i have the 2015 exl crv. The cvt is still holding up well at almost 130k, just do all the basic maintenances on time and that car still go's.
Crazy thing is when you brake torque it, you can get 7sec and it won’t mimic the shifts.. it just drones really loudly at the top end the whole time but will take about a second and a half off of the time. 👍

It makes no difference in any properly programmed car when you floor the pedal.

I feel as the hybrids want stretched out like this
My wife has the 1.5 turbo gas and I have the 2.0 hybrid. The turbo one gets more acceleration 😊
